BAM management must in full scramble mode brewing up excuses to save their own hides.

Don't suppose any of them would have the cojones to put their hand up and accept responsibility for not only this debacle, but years of decay. HAHAHAHAHA... only joking, of course they won't.

Yes ... But don't they stop as soon as you reach 3? Maybe they'd do better if they knew the rules at least ...

That's just stupid. The whole philosophy behind putting two teams forward per group in any sport is to enable the second place of that group to have a chance against the top teams of the other groups, Therefore cancelling out any bad luck of the draw initially. Then you end up seeing who the best 2 or 4 teams actually are. Shame teams in badminton can't be trusted ending up with this stupid re draw c**p

Should have fielded LCW in the XD. He could have partnered GLY or even VH/WKW

For those who don't know, LCW/VH beat CPS/GLY in a state open.

For those who think the WD match was close - it wasn't.

The Germans applied the right tactics to pressure the frontcourt, knowing that they cannot match the Malaysians speed. Only reason the scores were close was that the Germans were too hasty during the final kill.

    Congrats Germany .......

Player of the tie - Birgit "the Splits" Michels.

Yup, "splitting" Michels proved to be a trump card. II will post pics tomorrow.

The tie between Japan and Denmark was by far the best in the event so far.

Although they lost, Denmark would be shouting with glee - they get to meet Chinese Taipei (considered the weakest among the group champs).

Japan is not too bad - playing Thailand minus Ratchanok. I look forward to the quarterfinals.

JY Tee was a joke. She can't even pick up a simple drop shot as she just stood there.

Malaysian fans on BC should just accept the result and not dwell on what might have been.

The fans at the stadium were dissappointed - but they were sporting enough to congratulate and applaud the Germans.

OMG, this will be the first time for Indonesia to not make it to semifinal.
If we can get 1 point from China, it will be great. Depending on the order of the game, I think our MD and XD are the only chance.
Tommy is not strong enough for Chen Long.
Lindaweni should be field again.( i hope all england result of her beating Wang Yihan
