It seems Srikanth is playing a three game match.. Its already 45 mins past ... Hope that srikanth prevails..
Deng Xuan is the one that I underestimated, she made a good improvement lately....Hope she can mantain her performance
Deng Xuan beat Han Li, an upset of sorts. Another up-and-coming CHN player who previously defeated WSX in the HK Open. She recently did say she is working hard to get into the CHN National 1st Team, and has made some notable progress so far.
Eom/Jang finally can beat Wang/Yu (The other Wang/Yu) The pic on attachment is the prove, credit to @mrsbirama
This dude is unbelievable... he just bowled over every opponent he met. Simply amazing that being ranked 7 or 8 in India... he's done so well... his win over Nan Wei is absolutely stunning. Indian badminton is finally starting to display signs of maturity... although it still has a long way to go. It's certainly on it's way there.
Didn't expect such a tight 1st game between Chrisnanta/Vanessa and Tao/Tang,, barely won by the latter,23-21. Surprisingly, in G2, the former is running away with it, leading 18-9.
Chen YUekun also progresses to the semi-final in the lower half where he is likely to meet Gurusaidutt,I think.
How does Zhang Nan play with Li Gen? Does Li Gen play the back court? I've never thought that Li Gen has a good smash from the back of the court, very awkward looking.
Court 1 has some catching up to do... they're way behind schedule... it's almost gonna be 6pm. We're unlikely to see a break between the session in that court, but a spilled over delay.
