who said that? I can ensure that will never happen in Japan team because they are competing for their own company.

History was made by both Liew Daren and Minatsu Mitani with their maiden wins in a super series tournament.
Liew Daren and Minatsu Mitani were both unseeded and their scalps were those of Viktor Axelsen (U) and Saina Nehwal (S1).
Liew Daren has come of age and will now have to carry Malaysia's torch with LCW who turned 30 years on 21 October 2012.

    Congratulations to Daren and Minatsu.

Wonderful day for Mitani. She deserved this victory. I was amazed to heard from Gillian Clark (and then in this forum) that she is the first Japanese to win a SS level title.
Tough day for Saina but she did well to reach the final.
Yes, the group of potential WS winners is increasing with day and it is a good thing:D.
    Good Night folks.

Doesnt seems so unless Mitani develops more... She is a wonderful prospect but She only displayed one dimensional game today not that she needed as it worked, but the rest would be ready for her now :D
Go to the training room watch a few more videos and thats it...

The way Eriko lost in the second set to Mitani aroused some suspicions among few BC'ers... not meant in negative way but just a suspicion looking at yesterday's scoreline... Now that Mitani burried that myth next time that wont happen... Look at today's scoreline 21-19 21-11. That's spectacular!

Thailand wasnt a SS event, There are Super Series Premiere, Super Series and then Gold events based on their worth respectively. The first two falls in the SS bracket and count for Finals event in Dec end of the year.

I'm afraid you don't know Li Yongbo - he is never afraid of anybody or anything as far as badminton is concerned. Respect, yes, afraid, never;otherwise how can he be the LYB who helms CBA for 20 years now. Merely stating a fact, not arguing with you, don't get me wrong.:D

Go, Mitani! Thank goodness she won - if I had to endure more Indian "hee hees", I would have puked.

To lose to a total newcomer who is not even from a powerhouse nation in badminton...poor Saina...I guess this shows that she's lacking in some skill. LOL!

For sure she will develop further as she is still very young.. It's general very dificult to beat this type of player- solid defense, seldom make mistake, mindful..just like LCW. Every opponent has to work very hard to get a point from her...
