No? Otherwise I may need to be going for a handful of operations . I have watched this pair in a televised match (Indonesian GPG?) a while back, which led me to the prediction, but they may have improved since then.
Well they lost to their teammates there who are not of the same style as the Japanese and Korean doubles. Saw they beat two Korean pairs back-to-back at Singapore Open and Naito/Matsuo at Uber Cup most recently but here again giving up 11 straight points with an interval in between even ... At least they lost to the right JPN pair ...
Like you said, she 'was'. What we want to see is she 'continues to be'. Same as you, I wish to see her fulfill your first part 'LXR will definitely be back'. Personally, I love to see her powerful, fast and furious attacking game as few ladies player can do it to the extent that I feel as if I am watching a Men's Single at play, something like Lee Hyun-Il for his sudden counter-attacking game, not so much akin to Lin Dan's or Lee CW's style which is almost impossible for ladies to emulate, if you know what I mean.
Just checked it out. I'm surprised that I had missed noticing such awesome performances. Quite a mouthful, the results. And the 11 points too .
They are playing the uncensored version of 'Starships' (Nicki Minaj song) in the stadium so there are full volume F-bombs on the BWF stream.
5 matches is 5 matches you know . Same like last year with Gade vs Axelsen, am sure it is still on Danish tv ...
LXR probably had an intensive training program that culminated with the Olympics. I'm guessing that she has used up all her nervous energy when she won the gold. It is quite common for athletes to perform poorly after a very big result. She should be back within a year or so. Only time will tell.
The YONEX Denmark Open 2012 QF upsets involved Li Xuerui (S2) who was defeated by Juliane Schenk (S6) and Wang Shixian (S4) who lost to Jiang Yanjiao (S8) in identical scores of 21-19, 21-12. The big SF clash today should be the one between WYH (S1) and SN (S3) and hopefully, SN can prevail for once as she has never been able to beat WYH in their previous six encounters. Other interesting SF clashes to watch are those between MB/CM (S1) and KKK/TBH (S3) and JYJ and JS. I wonder whether KKK/TBH could somehow perform the hardly-possible.
lxr is still young and will have ups and downs. the op is a hater. by that logic, the more disgraceful player should be taufik.
Taufik perform not so good after he got married, he choose to get married and now having two children , life happily and manage his own "Taufik Arena" . you just can compare him wth LCW and LD who just got married . Taufik has choosed and he actually know what his priority in his life. you're just too negatife with him.
taufik decision to leave the national team may also be a problem.... in national team, you only need to play, someone can analyse for you, plan your schedule, plan your flight and visa, cater you food and have a translator with you when you go around... while the playing part is the same, going independent is ratyher different as compared to national team due to the administrative work
Yup, the mark that would show Saina Nehwal as being truly one of the greats, is to beat Wang Yihan for the first time. My concern is that every time I saw her live when playing this particular Ms Wang - Saina tends to sort of give up too early at the end. Very surprising given that these two are probably among the two fittest WS players of the current era.
Afraid he's already 26, definitely not any youngster. Liew Daren and Chong Wei Feng are already 25 as well.. None of them are young. It's actually good that they actually did start to perform better now.
