And we shall see how far she can raise herself emotionally and mentally into the game. She has nothing to loose. But since She is ina's last hope for ws title maybe the burden just to heavy for her

Congratulations to Sony Dwi Kuncoro as he wins his second GPG title this year (Thailand and Indonesia)!

He should be ranked in the top 20 in a fortnight, with still the Chinese-Taipei Open GPG to be played next week. A tougher draw awaits him though as he's unseeded and will possibly face either Mohd Hafiz Hashim, Chong Wei Feng or Alamsyah Yunus [8] for a place in the last 8. If he can progress to the last 8, then Tommy Sugiarto [4] and most likely Nguyen Tien Minh [2] (who beat him in the Vietnam Open GP Final last month) will be his obstacles if he wants to reach the Final again. I hope he can progress to at least SF.

Tontowi Ahmad/Liliyana Natsir confirm their status as INA's no 1 XD pair as they beat the no 2 pair Mohd Rijal/Debby Susanto 21-19, 21-14. Rijal/Debby were leading 16-10 in the first set but they just could not keep their momentum. So, two runner-ups in a row for Rijal.

Rijal/Debby have a crucial week in the Chinese-Taipei Open GPG, being seeded first. They MUST WIN the title there otherwise, a split is imminent. However, it wouldn't be easy as I predict they may lose to the in-form Markis Kido/Pia Zebadiah Bernadeth as early as in their first match next Thursday.

Yeni is a bit too erratic and probably nervous from the pressure of the burden of expectation. At the moment I think Lindaweni is a better player than Yeni who still did pretty well to enter the final.

After Sony eliminated Sasaki, I was sure he would win the title and he duly delivered. Not bad, way to go.

Tons and tons of unforced errors from the INA pair. Unless there's a miracle, they will lose this match easily. What a shame...even Ronald/Selvanus and Markus/Agri can force the Korean pair to rubber-sets.

I am really not convinced with the future of Rian/Angga.

A really toothless performance from the supposedly prospect pair of Rian/Angga. If they cannot win the Chinese-Taipei Open GPG next week, they really need to be split. Let's pair back Angga with Rendy.

Was it Rian with Angga during AJC 2009 when they almost won over Ow/Chooi? Or was Rian partnering someone else? The AJC/WJC pairing was good

KBA surely not count # of posts in BC as the reason to drop Korea SSP become SS events. lol. In 2009, when only 5 - 6 semi-retired China players attend Korea open, the total posts = 1,815. But in 2010, when many active China players (whom dominates the top 10 world ranking) attend Korea open, # of posts in BC decrease significantly, only 898 posts lol. :p. Where is the logic, limsy and sen ?

Didn't expect the MD final to be a lop-sided match. The INA pair failed to rise to the occasion.

For the KOR team , Kim Sa Rang is emerging as a fine doubles specialist and looks to become one of their mainstays. Wonder how Lee Yong Dae's new partnership will turn out. Anyhow,KOR's doubles pairs whether MD,WD or XD are always a force to be reckoned with.
