Lee Hyun Il.... laid back yet alert, rally player but full of power, smooth yet super fast. a load of contradiction but all in a good way. what a unique player.

Net play and ...game over. Bronze for CL. 21-15 in rubber set.

Excellent effort from LHI in 2nd and 3rd set but its not enough to beat the raising CL.

i always think that LHI and LCW are similar in both footwork and playing styles, may be because of the Li Mao connection.
LCW is much faster and LHI is more powerful

poor LHI - a class player but always outside the top 3 come olympic time.

CL is clearly proud of his bronze. it means he realised his potential at this moment in time (being the clear world no.3 behind the two big dogs). his time for gold may well come at Rio.

LHI is such a skillful player, so calm and composed. too bad he was facing CL who was fast and powerful. basically LHI was overspeed and overpowered.

CL is such a contrast from LHI, not the smartest of player, shot selection is simple but precise and powerful.

Score is not relevant to generosity... if one decided to give it away. Btw, rewatching TC 08' and MO 05' brought satisfaction to me most of the time.;)
