I'm glad LCW didn't get "Tago'ed" out! Still hoping he can recover enough to give us a match like the WC final, even if it is with Chen Long, but hopefully Lin Dan!

After reading this. I am sad to face the fact that LD will win the OG.. The mind set make him a champion. LCW mind set to get Gold Gold Gold make him fall into the same situation like 08 OG game

    From LD
"I think the difference between here and ‘08 is that I'm bringing a different mindset," the spiky-haired 28-year-old told Reuters in an interview on Monday.
"Here I'm just trying to bring the best out of myself as a professional sportsman. I'm not really thinking about results or whether I can get the gold medal.
"I'm hoping, like all the competitors here, that we can make more people like this sport.
"Of course, in China there's already plenty of people who like badminton. I'm hoping more foreigners, Americans and other countries can get into this sport.
"I'm hoping this sport can be as popular as tennis in Europe, and be acknowledged and liked by Europeans in the same way."

The chance is really really slim because he has to beat LD at 1/16 to progress further.

Maybe LCW is just playing the mind game so that his tough opponents would be over confident or would take him a bit lightly knowing he is injured and not 100% fit to play.

Although it almost impossible, but I wish Simon Santoso will win the Gold Medal. Simon, now it's your time to rise. Now or Never..

******** !!! With his kind of sportsmanship, conceding walkovers and playing fake matches he should be ashamed of himself. He is not fit to promote the sport.

If only Lee Chong Wei has a better soft skills, then Lin Dan is obviously unfit to promote the sports.

Who cares, he is only interested in Chinese market.

We all know it's pointless to try and promote in America. Those white rednecks will always apply the Asian stereotype to inhibit the progress of the sport in that country.

I think you should refrain from talking about America, since it is obvious you have no idea what you are talking about. There are no "white people" trying to stop the progress of badminton in America, what are you even talking about?

Read the text in bold, excerpts from xymaerts's post. He said he wants to promote the sport to Americas and other parts of the world, whereas "Who cares, he is only interested in Chinese market" is your own statement.

Taufik said: 'I never play early mornings. It's too early for me, I'm not an early morning person. My body is still adjusting. Because I play too early, it's like I'm still sleeping.'
