You know where it was? XXF had it in her Gucci bag and was waiting at the entrance for him. Oh the pressure to finish the match off quickly AND to make it look kinda genuine. :D

I see you are awake and ready for the football match. And I didn't sleep a wink. Don't think I can finish watching the match.

You are worried about a PRC professor but not a INA, MAS professor ? What I was pointing out was LD thrives on the stadium atmosphere created in CHN, Taipei and HK but not in some other tournament places. Not saying whether he is in form or not. To me, LD plays the best he can in every tournament he plays, he said it himself in an AE'10 interview last time. If LD played SDK in CHN, HK, Taipei, it would have been a different story.

I call for a 50-50 slug-it-out match. Neither is shy to hit the shuttle (pay attention WSX ;)) and tend to go for their shots. The crowd is in for a wonderful treat

Are you really a badminton fans? Where'd did you find that LD only wins in CHN, TP & HK? Really an eye-opening arguement! :DIf the achievements done by LD could still be pissed off like this, poor LCW, PG and the rest of the world's badminton players, they could be considered as non-existence...

Note that I mentioned Open tourneys, not Thomas Cup events. In fact, it turns out that Lin Dan never wins the MAS Open (SS) too. That probably explains his attitude towards competing in ASEAN countries in general.

Ned will win no doubt. But since I like Fischer/Pedersen, I will root for Den. :D

Let me repeat the post and add, if Lin Dan beats Sony today ( which he could just will himself to do so) and then loses to Chen tomorrow or ,worse still, concedes a walkover citing indisposition, what will you people say? Which is the more acceptable outcome? Of course,it'll be best he wins both but that's not my question. Food for thought.:)

I always come when something interesting happened. LD lost.
Actually if I would look at player list before competition and remove LD and Sony from there, I would not recognize this as badminton tournament.. I don't meet anybody

The second paragraph is not directed at you. It is meant for the few who constantly indulged in China bashing, thinking that there are no Chinese nationals in this forum. Oh yes I will be worried of those people you mentioned. In fact I will be ashamed of myself if I indulge in the bashing of any country. I am sorry that you misunderstood me.I should not have put the two posts into one.

LD cannot be and is not obliged to anyone of us to be the great player that we want him to be in every tournament. This is like expecting Usain Bolt to run a sub 9.7 seconds in every race he takes part in. He has his own priorities. LD earns his money through endorsements and not through SS for which he gets to keep only a certain % of his prize money. Hence he targets only the big tournaments.
