Malaysian players are upset-resistant against minor countries. Against powerhouses, they are truly tested..

    Enough said

He was noticed last year, think he's already 22 this year but now Misbun Ramdan Misbun and Iskandar are getting more attention.

Quite pleased to see Misbun Ramdan beating Abian Pablo ;) But Iskandar is just disappointing...

Ah, thanks for the info. Never really heard of him. Misbun Ramdan beating Abian is a good win.

To be honest, Lin Dan shouldn't really give a damn about this tournament ...Most of the seeded players are out and furthermore i think all of the dark horses are out of the tournament and the opponents he is playing against are not playing in the Olympics...he should just chill and play with 10 percent strength..

What's happening to INA is MS? They're dropping like flies. Already 5 casualties and looks like Riyanto is about to be the 6th

Three INA MS advance into R/32 with one R/16 ticket has been secured as Yunus will take on Vito. Meanwhile the resurgence SDK will challenge MAS Kuan Beng Hong tonight.

There is some serious conflict in Ina internal comittee and clearly affecting players performance,...not that the reason to begin with as they are just so-so players so far based on the results...

I heard Wong Tat Meng just left his position as Ina Ws coach leaving Ina Ws clueless since Li Mao not quite they expected for

Firda admits she has some progress with Wong and that just days before he out..

Typical Riyanto....after giving a tough fight to Wei Nan in the first-set, he yielded meekly.

Again, this tourney shows that only Shesar Hiren Rhustavito and perhaps Wisnu Yuli Prasetyo deserve to stay in Pelatnas. The others....I am afraid they have to go (which includes Riyanto Subagja).

I noticed progress from Firda of late. She had stalled some after her injury. Bad timing with Wong's departure.

Ueda vs Gao Huan- Late bloomer against late bloomer? Gao Huan ( around the same age as Wang Zhenming) has only started to show some progress recently.

If the head of the department in charge of coaching, players, and tourneys planning (Hadi Nasri) resigned just barely 1.5 year after the previous one (Lius Pongoh) left the same post, it signals a big internal problem within PBSI. 2 resignations in just 1 term of leadership under Pak Djoko Susanto...something that was unheard of (correct me if I am wrong) in the previous terms.

till now, MAS MS only got 2 out, promising Soong Joo Ven and former world junior runner-up Iskandar.

the rest including uncle Wong made to next round...

there are 3 more still ongoing in 1st round, would they proceed successfully?

Sameer took G1 from Tanongsak in shockingly easy fashion 21-10.
