Bao/Zhong are wont to play grueling, close three-game encounters, this match is no exception, interesting and strange, almost mysterious to me

Whatever, TS should have the courtesy not to keep us guessing or wondering for too long -- simply state "walkover" or something(eg, player overslept is fine by me:D)

Yet another Houdini-like escape and victory for Bao/Zhong. The victims this time are (sadly) Cutie #2 and partner.

A thrill a minute for this exciting pair.

Bao/Zhong sounded like "包中“ in Mandarin, meaning "sure win/strike" in English (hope I didn't get my Mandarin wrong)

    I dunno...

But at Australian Open. He did not go to the stadium until 5 or 10mins before his game. I was at a hotel lobby and he casually walks out and heads out to the stadium by himself not long before his match.

So he might just show up soon?

Not only that, but Kashyap now makes the Olympics cause of this. Win win for both CH and Kashyap!

Bao and Zhong are real fighters, but also slow starters.

That's how they present the results

    .
That's how they present the results; The left-hand side indicates the winners.

    Have a look at the Semi-Finals Schedule now;

    http://www.tournamentsoftware.com/s...18A3AB-FF73-4577-8A05-A4B8CFE1CA8F&d=20120428

and then when the matches are completed, you will find that the winners will be shifted to the left-hand side. :D:D:D

Yes. And looks like Chen Jin has found the perfect way to repay Shon Wan Ho for beating Peter Gade as well.

Since HKV (who likely won't be going to the Olympics because PG and JOJ should be selected) is a Quarter Finals of this tournament, the only way Shon Wan Ho can overtake HKV and finish within top 16 in the world ranking is for him to reach the finals of this Tournament.

Now that Chen Jin has withdrawn, Shon Wan Ho should have a much easier time in his semi final match against Kashyap Parupalli and have a much higher chance to reach the finals.

Imagine what would happen Shon Wan Ho does very well in the Olympics and pulls a major upset by beating one of the Chinese players? Chen Jin will really regret it because had he choose face Kashyap Parupalli in the Quarters Finals of the Indian Open, he is in position to first beat him and then eliminate Shon Wan Ho in the semi's and deny him a place to the Olympics.

Had Shon Wan Ho lose to Chen Jin in the semi's, a much lower ranked player will be playing in London instead. By withdrawing from the Quarter Finals of India Open and give Shon Wan Ho a much better chance to qualify for the Olympics, Chen Jin is actually allowing someone who is capable of upsetting a Chinese player into the Olympics.

But then, I wouldn't blame Chen Jin for withdrawing. It must be extremly tiring to be playing German Open, All England, Swiss Open, Austria Open, Asian Champion, and now the India Open within so short period of time. If he doesn't rest and recover, injuries may occur.
