Yes, i admit it is not highly likely. But if LXR loses to Ratchanok at the Quarter Final and Saina wins the Final in India, then i think Saina would overtake LXR. Again, I admit it is not highly likely that both of these will happen.

As for Semi Final, I haven't done the math. If LXR loses the semi final to either Sung JH or TTY, will Saina overtake LXR? anyone done the math on this?

you have to remember, everyone in the world is now studying LXR's every possible weaknesses.

Cannot figure out her weakness at all during the game against WYH. Her movements, strokes and speed are near perfection. I think so far the only non-Chinese player that could trouble her a little with the element of surprise was Tai-phoon when I watched her game against Li Xuerui at All England.

Again, Li Xuerui showed she still has a lot left in her to subdue Taiphoon who was completely KO in the third game... Truly the "Next Big Thing"

LXR's only weakness,if any,at the moment,is she just want to have a break but with just two days to go before India SS,she has to psyche herself up again. It's as good as saying there is no-one to stop her presently, only she can defeat herself, then we'll know who's the lucky lady to benefit from her lousy mood or bad day - I'd pick Chen Xiaojia who is slated to meet her in the QF, she's raring to go and has the skills and determination to succeed, this tournament could be her big break.

Even if LXR wins all matches in India and all matches in Uber Cup, LYB can still choose WSX instead of LXR for the Olympics.

    BWF, great system! :)

Thanks, Alan. It is slightly more complicated than I thought.

If WSX takes out Saina at the semi final, then LXR is safe. Right? hmm, interesting.

Let's see how WSX will "perform" this time.

As long as LXR get into the final in her half, she will be safe
