Not sure why Fran/Shendy are not sent. Fran has not even won a GPG title.

The rest of the Pelatnas team are as expected. They are sending the second-team to MAS GPG.

    Very weak field.
Although MK/HS are the heavy favourites, I hope MAS MD can take a title here. And no, not KKK/TBH ;) Cho/Kang are rightly seeded 4th as I think they are one of the contenders too.

Gan Teik Chai with Ong Soon Hock? Ong Soon Hock has left BAM?

If LCW does not withdraw, we will eye 3 titles from MS, MD and XD.

Yeah, looks like it. Gan's regular partner Tan Bin SHen is partnered with Chow Pak Chuu. TBS split from OSH before due to differences & not getting along, so, not surprising. Plus Chow now no regular partner, seen him partner European player a couple of times. Chow used to partner a Msian, Hong I think the name. Could be Hong retired.

Indeed, particularly WS discipline, weak line-up.

China could at least send their youngsters/non Olympic bound players. Did LYB make all of them to be sparring partners for the Olympic bound team??

MAS GPG lost its edge, no offence to the other players that participated.

it's better abolish MAS GP by next year, only MAS SS will be held for good, no need to waste bunch of money to organise the event, see example for Axiata Cup.
