Septano and Ahsan's playstyle reminds me slightly of Sigit Budiarto. Definitely has room for improvement but I was very impressed.

Where were you when they were giving out the prizes. That's why LCW didn't want to win.

Agree! They play very fast! They're young, they have good physical abilities.

They just need to build their confindence.

Yup! They play very fast! They love to play fast drive!

If they want to play like Sigit, They need to improve defense, deception shot, and some attraction :D

It is obvious from Lucida's comments that he is not a badminton player, at least not the type that goes all out. A day of rest makes a hell of a difference to me in terms of muscle recovery after a hard match especially for people like LCW who push their bodies to the max to move so fast around the court. All the previous days rest prior to it is not applicable as far as I am concerned.

For amateurs like myself, a day's rest makes a big difference, but for world class players who are superb athletes, not such a big issue. You might like to ask any of the top players, aside from Lin Dan, eg Nyuyen TM, Sho Sasaki, Chen Jin, Marc Zwiebler, whether given a day's rest then come and play Lee CW today i.e. today in his form and fitness (somebody said he has shoulder injury), can he beat him (Lee) or come near to doing so; I doubt so, in other words Chong-wei would still win just playing his normal attacking game, not necessarily at his best. That's why, I believe, Chen Long's victory today over Datuk Lee was special, though I also think he got to do it again to be convincing;otherwise, it is just a rare isolated feat.

for me, today, LCW is at his lowest (yesterday is also low)
many of CL points are from LCW mistakes, I even lost count on how many mistakes LCW made today
so, I'm still not convinced CL getting closer to LCW

Yes. No intention to take credit from CL, but today LCW was far from his best. He even did many dropshot while usually he would smash lethally.

The good thing about BoSan is, they showed positive trends for the last 3 years.Better than Hendra/Joko and Rian/Yoke did. Who failed to back Kindra up.But I hope they can be better than Luluk/Alvent

Congratulations to CHEN LONG for winning his second SS title

    .
I have just returned to find out what has happened - and was surprised that CL defeated LCW.

But come to think of it - with LCW's injury and CL's rest yesterday (at the Semi-Finals) - I shouldn't be surprised that CL has won.

    Congratulations to Chen Long. :):):)

I remember this is not the first time Chen Long has beaten LCW, he did it before a few years back at the India Open.
