Peter Gade, I salute you! At 34-yrs-old and still playing like that against Chong Wei. Younger players should do well to learn from him, esp in view of the fact that we have two of the best ever badminton players in history, in Lin Dan and Lee CW.

Lee always seem to be able to do what he wants with everyone except Lin Dan, calm and confident, executing his strokes with flourish and finesse, stamping his class. But, according to his coach Tay Seu Bok, he often "choked" when playing Lin Dan,his nemesis.

Peter, despite almost always faring badly against Lee than against Super Dan, still regards Lin Dan as the greatest badminton player in history. Being such a strong player himself, and having played both of them frequently and knowing them so well, I strongly feel he is qualified to pass such judgement as to which of the two is the better player. Even the great Morten Frost, who has never played either one, concurs.

Zhang Nan injurd his elbow, still didn't withdraw from this tournament and could come this far?! Which elbow, the playing hand or the other one?

Whatever, tomorrow's matches should be worth watching despite no dream final between LD and Lee. Seems to me both LD and Lee are trying to avoid each other as far as possible, preferring to reserve whatever they have for the big ones, and not wanting to give each other more psychological advantage than necessary and familiarity of play. Which means every time they meet will be an occasion not to be missed but cherished and looked forward to, like the last WCH match which has everything you could asked for, as they used to say, "can't get any better than that".

Hey! friends and badminton lovers, express yourself freely, give your personal views, show your emotions, but do it all in good spirit, in fun, with mutual respect, no malice or ill-will intended. OK, folks? We can agree to disagree, but don't be disagreeable.

Pederson is whispering to her partner covering her mouth, either they speaking in Germans or the opponents can understand Danish.
