    This may be the best chance for the TPE MD to conquer CY/FHF. Is ZN/ZYL fit? CHN may see two top seeds fall in this round.

    Hopefully Nitya/Feinya will go further in this tourney. They need to race with Vita/Nadya to become INA second WD in next year OG.

    Whoever second WD will be nothing for OG2012, if they can not finish in the top 8.
    Even in Vita/Nadya's current situation, it is slightly hard to steal position in the best 8.

    CHN secure 2 pairs, no wonder if they put another pair in following month.
    JPN has 3 pairs. Do not forget KOR.
    Although TPE pair seems going downhill, perhaps they will stay in top 8 until several next months.

    Looking from the trend of WD, not many changes in top 8 ranking.

    However, wish the best for Vita/Nadya, or Nitya/Feinya, why not? :)

    2011 Japan Open SS: My guesses of whom could be eliminated in Round 1

    .
    OK... Allow me to make some guesses (in the Singles events) as to whom I think could be eliminated in Round 1.

    Sorry, this time I am going to post negatively (as compared to my usual positive posts in past threads). :p:p:p

    My guesses of whom could be eliminated in Round 1 could be;

    Womens Singles:
    * Yao Jie
    * Eriko Hirose
    * Tse Ying Suet
    * Bae Youn Joo
    * Sayaka Sato
    * Pi Hongyan

    Mens Singles:
    * Chan Yan Kit
    * Ajay Jayaram
    * D.Hayom Rumbaka
    * Kazushi Yamada
    * Parupalli Kashyap
    * Sho Sasaki

    Let's see how true my guesses could be. :):):)

    MAS only have LCW for MS, Koo/Tan and Goh/Lim for MD for this tournament...
    can they survive...?!

    I would expect LCW to survive the longest (of all the MAS participants).

    MAS send only 1 MS representative to win the title.
    MAS send 2 MD representatives and 1 may win the title.

    Correction :

    MAS send only 1 MS representative to win the title.
    MAS send 2 MD representatives and neither may win the title.

    I predict Lee CW to win the men's singles title - nobody can stop him in the top half while in the bottom half Lin Dan may "lose" at the QF or SF stage to his teammates should they meet.

    * Wang Shixian [2] to defeat Pi Hongyan

    Mens Singles:
    * Kenichi Tago to defeat Chan Yan Kit
    * Nguyen Tien Minh [7] to defeat Ajay Jayaram
    * Du Pengyu [8] to defeat D.Hayom Rumbaka
    * Chen Long [4] to defeat Kazushi Yamada

    Axelsen vs Kashyap should be an interesting match. I wish it could be broadcasted.
