He Hanbin and Bao Yixin ???? Hmm.......

I wonder if LD, CJ, and CL will "play-play" against each other

Better draw for Anneke/Nitya rather than Mel/Greys and Vita/Nadya

XD seems quite exciting this time round. Potential R2 match between Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei and Lee Yong Dae/Ha Jung Eun. Will be interesting to see how the Koreans perform and whether they can play up to expectations.

Very notably Lee Yong Dae has been partnered with Ko Sung Hyun and has to go through the qualifying rounds while Jung Jae Sung and Yoo Yeon Seong are 5th seeds. Shouldn't they take joint 5th/6th seeds since when mixed they both have equal points? Interesting move on the part of the Korean team nonetheless.

LYD/KSH is not seeded because they have WR already.

Strange, the player placement is so imbalance: there are four Chinese players packed into the bottom pool (LD, CJ, CL and Du Pengyu) and only Wang Zheming in the top pool.

Why not the player distribution from the same country be arranged more evenly between the two pools??? While some may quickly point out the possibility of match fixing, OTOH this uneven distribution reduces China's chance for better performances in MS in the whole.

Not strange la... look at their ranking... all odd numbers at the top while all even numbers at the bottom... this is how the arrangement...

And earlier fixing game better than later match fixing... imagine if they fix the match in the semi / final...

What a draw, with Lin Dan in the same half as CJ, CL, DPY, he might just give the match to anyone of them to help him advance, arrrgh...

I totally agree with you. I just hope that Ha gets better at the net before the Olympics.

Looking at the draw, I'm pessimistic we can get to see another Dream Final between LD and LCW, provided all the other three CHN men's players lose before meeting Lin Dan (of course assuming LD doesn't get kicked out by someone else). There is a high chance LD will play Santa Claus and choose which of his fellow teammates(CJ, CL or DPY) to gift the match to along the way. Sickening.

there used to be a rule to have the players be evenly distributed. but BWF took out that rule so we now see players from the same country playing each other earlier.

    This will be interesting...

I have a feeling that Lin Dan will let either Chen Long or Chen Jin to proceed thru. More likely it will be Chen Long.

    the Drama begins...

is the current rule relates to the seedings/ranking points of top 8 players only? or both (like seed between 9-32)

I noticed that the MS's top half are odd numbers seeds, and bot half are even numbers. But.... the WS is not in that pattern... top = 1,3,5,6. bot = 2,4,7,8.

MD, WD, XD are not in that pattern(MS one) too.

I think China could complaint about this current MS draw....
