I didn't know that you could bet on badminton matches ! If so I think I would have made quite a lot of money by now ! By betting on lower ranked players (that have a very good chance of winning) I am sure I could make a lot of money. (like betting on someone like Chen Yuekun vs Chetan Anand, I am pretty sure Chen would win, and I would win tons of money !)
You would think, unfortunately they know better . It's not even close to the PAW point distribution ... It's not very interesting anymore plus it is "live betting" the odds change constantly after every point and before you can even enter a bet the odds have changed again half the time. I managed to lose "all" my initial entry fee, sometimes the odds are very tempting for a moment and you can get lured in. Before it was mainly pregame odds ...
Good win for Emre against quach but Emre lost 2 matches in the team event. Shows.how good and close the standard in Europe is.
pregame odds are probably better though/easier to understand. So say I put a €10 pregame bet on Minitsu Mitani vs Wang Xin, are you saying that the return would be rubbish ? I was hoping that it would be something similar to €10 earns you €300 if Mitani wins (30-1) that would be great think of the money I could make.
Yeah, I am not too sure wheter I should be suprised or not, I have seen some of his results from the past, and they were very impressive (hence my recommendation as one to look out for) but I thought Quach, would be maybe too much for him. Obviously I was wrong a good performance, I am sure he will be one to look for in the future.
I have never seens odds like those ... That one might be ~8-1 if it were played probably less even. There are still pre-game odds at the start of the game but it's all in the live section now I just remembered although sometimes they aren't available + sometimes midgame all betts are off as well for no apparent reason :rolleyes Couple of more upsets: Gabdulina out , our own medal hope Wentholt out . Coles/Fletcher out vs Dutchies Corvee doing well, eliminating Grachev and seeded countryman Baumann ... Milne vs Marin is going to be a cracker, would be criminal not to schedule it on Pohjala or Cumulus!
Odds now ~10:1 in favour of Marin, quite amazing for BWIN at this score . 11:1 now ... Example 2: 5/8th seeds getting 1.3:1 and the 2nd seed 3.2:1 ...
Holzer/Schwenger (2) surprisingly taking the first hurdle Mikkelsen/Overgaard (5/8): 18-21 21-14 21-12. Next up another big hurdle: Corvee/Gorsjean (5/8).
Axelsen beat Fladberg in 3: 21-8 17-21 21-13, something tells me he got complacent after the first game and let Fladberg back into it, then recovering in the 3rd game. What age is Fladberg ? I know that Quach is 18, and Axelsen is 17. Also where is Kim Bruun ? Didnt he get to the final of the U17 last time ? And also isnt Emil Holst a junior ? How come he isnt in the draw ? I would expect Carolina to win WS. ------------------------------------------- just remembered that Denmark could only enter 3 MS
Emil Holst is the oldest, born 9/1 1991, so he is now senior. Rasmus Fladberg, Flemming Quach and Morten Brødbæk are all from 1992. Fladberg turned 19 in january, Quach turned 19 in april. Brødbæk's birthday is in august so he is still 18. Nikolaj Overgaard, Kim Astrup Mikkel Mikkelsen, and Ditte Strunge are from 1992 as well. Kim Bruun is from 1993. He is still 17. Frederik Colberg and Mette Poulsen are from 1993 as well. And to complete the set, Viktor is from january 1994 and is thus 17. Line Kjærsfeldt, Sandra-Maria, and Anna Thea Madsen are from 1994 as well. I hope I did not miss any
I wonder why Viktor and these girls weren't chosen for the Danish Six Nations U17 squad, which is to be held early May. After all, they're still eligible to play U17 tournaments.
I wonder why there are only 6 minutes and 46 seconds of the MS final online Probably because they are looking ahead at the EJC U17 already ...
Thanks for all the information I was still under the impression that Holst was U19 still. @demolidor were you at the Dutch Intl today ?
