Oh dear, Liew Daren's fight stopped at the very last point. Congratulations to both players for the great fight, but Du Pengyu makes it through 21-16; 19-21; 21-19

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

Coming back from 20-16 just to lose 21-19 :(:(:(

Anyway, congrats to Liew Daren for making it this far and holding his own very well against DPY.

    Du Pengyu [6] def. Liew Daren 21-16, 19-21, 21-19 (1 hour and 17 minutes - I think his stamina is alright :D)

That's what I was looking at right now :D

WS: Lydia Cheah Li Ya vs. Li Xuerui [6]
MD: Goh Wei Shem/Lim Khim Wah vs. Cai Yun/Fu Haifeng [1]
WD: Marylen Ng Poau Leng/Woon Khe Wei vs. Cheng Wen Hsing/Chien Yu Chin [1]

MD and WD up against no. 1 seeds... :( And Lydia is up against the no. 6 seed :(

Talking about these young hopefuls, I'm curious to see what Minatsu Mitani can pull off against Cheng Shao Chieh.

    Indeed.

Boonsak also seems to be doing good against Yamada. He's another one I could cheer for in that CHN-dominated MS draw.
