A breakdown of the Semifinals by countries:

    MS: KOR 2, INA 1, MAS 1
    WS: KOR 2, GER 1, IND 1
    MD: KOR 2, INA 1, TPE 1
    WD: KOR 2, DEN 1, INA 1
    XD: DEN 1, ENG 1, INA 1, KOR 1

    Total: KOR 9, INA 4, DEN 2, ENG 1, GER 1, IND 1, MAS 1, TPE 1

By continent: Asia 16, Europe 4

Korea going strong, Indonesia also well represented; the Asian:European ratio has increased to 4:1.

2011 Swiss Open GPG: Korea is happy at the Semi-Finals

    .
Yes, Korea is happy at the Semi-Finals. :):):)

There are 16 seeded players/pairs out of the 20 remaining; and the other 4 (unseeded) are all from Korea.

The Quarterfinals have started with the match Lee Yong Dae/Ha Jung Eun [8] vs. Joachim Fischer Nielsen/Christinna Pedersen [4]. The Danes are ranked 8th in the world, while the Koreans are unranked as of yet. The pairs have never met in a tournament before.

    The score atm is LYD/HJE - Fischer Nielsen/Pedersen 4-5

I'm hoping for an Asian win as well :D
