    Anyway,good fight from Carolina! I noticed that she beat Chen Hsiao Huan in the Qualifying round..

    A KOR vs. JPN duel next up on Court 2. The pairs have never faced each other, but the Japanese (Eto Rie/Yu Wakita) are 89 spots above the Koreans (Jang Ye Na/Kim Min Seo) in the World Rankings.

    In the other KOR vs. JPN duel, on Court 1, the Koreans (Ko Sung Hyun/Yoo Yeon Seong) are leading 11-7 in the rubber. They have beaten the Japanese pair (Naoki Kawamae/Shoji Sato) before, at the 2011 AE, and are 14 spots above them in the Rankings.

    European XD duel coming up on Court 3.

    The no. 8 ranked and 4th seeds Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christinna Pedersen of Denmark face the no. 27 ranked Robert Blair (SCO)/Gabby White (ENG). The pairs have never met in a tournament before.

    Linda played rather calm, I think. Sometimes quite slow.
    Overall quite good. She got some points from Carolina's own fault error.

    Ko Sung Hyun and Yoo Yeon Seong repeat the result from the AE, defeating Kawamae/Sato in three, 19-21, 21-14, 21-19.

    Tai Tzu Ying vs. Kaori Imabeppu on Court 1. They have never played each other before, and the TPE lady is 53 rankings spots above her Japanese opponent.

    Palyama is ranked 24th in the world and is the 8th seed, WCH is ranked 31st in the World and is the 12th seed.

    The head to head is 2-1 in favor of the Malaysian.
