Well, I think I was too quick to pass judgement. Let's see what he can offer later.

Mattias Wigardt lost the first game 18-21 to Sho Sasaki.

The Swedes are falling like flies.

Where is the Sweden of yore? :(

The Icelanders and Norwegians losing in the Qualification, the Finns losing in the Round of 64, this is sad...

The Danes shouldn't be the only good Nordic country. It should be all Nordics and Asians.

Hey Gicutzu, the Abian v Koukal match is on and it looks like my hunch is correct so far. Abian 20-15

Hogianto sure has terrible body language, to go along with his awful footwork. CWF 21-14, but should have been easily under 10

Is badminton popular in Sweden/Iceland? I might be wrong but I haven't seen many strong players from that part of the world....

I don't think it's popular in Iceland, but Sweden used to have some good players in the past. They even have two gold medals at the World Championships.

If CWF only cuts down on the unforced errors, he would be walking it by now. But typical of MAS players, they're inconsistent

Hogianto is from 1982 btw ... probably trains minimal hours himself nowadays being coach as well.
