    MS is way over for LCW. Needs a different set of motivation.

    If TXH was present and LCW won without MS, then its easier to come to certain conclusion. But both players were without their mentor today.

    Anyway just 1 encounter might not say a lot.

    It is not a fair assumption of MS at all but the reality is, LCW needs something new, not the same old broken record playing over and over again.

    So many Malaysian BCers are over the moon with this win by LCW at the 2011 All England.

    Well done LCW. There are double celebrations here;

    * Defended the All England title
    * Defeated LD (the hard one to beat)

    :):):)

    Lin Dan has a great poker face lol. He never shows any loss of confidence even though he is beaten by LCW. This may have helped LD beat LCW in their previous meetings too, like in OG08 and TC10.

    I think LCW should practice his poker face expressions too lol. He needs to keep up in many aspects of his game to compete with LD. And this poker face expression is one of the important factors in determining the winner between these 2 great players who are both technically very well prepared each time they meet.

    A good day of the world's best badminton. Yet, as of now, not one word about the All England on BBC's Sports Homepage. :(
    Have the English no pride in the game they formalized?

    Meanwhile in distant forlorn Nova Scotia we, at least, can fly a flag for badminton. ;)

    My Observation of MS final

    LCW beat LD in in straights (21-17 21-17) as he did in Swiss 2009 (21-16 21-16). LCW won over LD in Japan 2010 in 3 thrilling games (22-20 16-21 21-17).

    If I recalled correctly, those 3 recent victories of LCW came without Misbun's but Rashid's presence. It has something to do with Rashid's coaching, hasn't it?

    Gosh, I feel so embarrassed. Woke up at 5:00 a.m. to watch the WS final and fell asleep. When I woke up again, EVERYTHING was over. :eek::eek:

    Guess I missed a bunch of good matches... SIGH...I have to download them now

    I think credit should be given to Tey Seu Bock, he officially coaching Chong Wei in All England. With this achievement, it will be harder for Misbun to negotiate with BAM.
