    Top seed Wang Shixian: At the prestigious 2011 YONEX All England Open Championships

    .
    Just found this article (from the BWF);

    http://www.bwfbadminton.org/news_item.aspx?id=45573

    Top seed Wang Shixian will look to add the prestigious 2011 YONEX All England Open Championships, the second OSIM BWF World Superseries Premier Tournament, to the two titles she has won this year (2011).
    :):):)

    It could be done, as it was mentioned in this thread (even on the eve of the tournament);

    I don't know has become of the idea. It was proposed in May 2008. :confused::confused::confused:

    And 74% of BCers voted to approve it. :):):)

    Why the draw in bottom line no have CHN WS player ???

    .
    This is how they do the draw;

    (1) Firstly, all seeded players are to be placed in their (seeded) positions.

    (2) After (1) has been done, then the other unseeded players are picked out from 'the hat' (randomly) to complete the draw.

    With Tine & Yihan absence, looks like Saina Nehwal has bright prospect to enter finale and most likely (99%) will meet one of 6 CHN WS from top-half draw, Wang Shixian or Wang Xin.

    Beside Tine Baun & Wang Yihan, some withdrawals according to ts.com updated :

    MS -- Sho Sasaki (JPN), Henri Hurskainen (SWE)
    WS -- Jeanine Cicognini (SUI)
    XD -- Thomas Laybourn/Kamilla Rytter-Juhl (DEN)
