TTY doing her Karate Kid serve.

TTY could match WSX but lost from lack of experience.

Tai Tzu Ying acts more childish than her 17 years whenever she fails to execute her shots. She's cute.

Ma Jin (China) is one work horse. She was in action again only 3 hours after partnering He Han Bin in mixed doubles. This time in women doubles with Cheng Shu.

In tomorrow's quarterfinals, Ma Jin and Ha Jung Eun (Korea) will meet each other in both mixed doubles and women doubles matches ... 3 hours apart again.

Today MJ and CS beat young Malaysian pair Vivian Hoo Kah Mun and Lim Yin Loo.

    mo11r208.jpg
I reckon Vivian can beat China's Wang Lin (in the looks department).

Taufik Hidayat (Indonesia) is steadily returning to the top ranks. He should have little trouble getting into the final.

    mo11r210.jpg
Lee Hyun Il (Korea) making an appearance after long absence from internationals.

    mo11r211.jpg
Today's highlight must be the appearance of Lee Chong Wei's coach, Misbun Sidek (who had resigned last week).

    mo11r212.jpg
Lee Chong Wei happy to be reunited with Misbun Sidek. He proved it by trouncing Hu Yun (Hong Kong).

In my first photo at post #13, you can count number of spectators with your hands. Actually, they were 'crowding' the seats along the long sides of the stadium (and not the short wings).

The crowd are usually sparse during weekdays - as most spectators are working adults and it is also school days for the kids. Come this Saturday (semi-final) and Sunday (final), you can be sure that the wings will also be full.

Even a thin crowd can be vociferous in Malaysia.
