This is not going to end. Good selections. There is a big buttttt.... will lcw take them? Again, only lcw can answer. Not easy to change the style and training routine. It'll take some downturn before stabilizing. No magic potion. We don't know how long it is going to take. Is it worth risking it for this 2 years?

What do you reckon? ;) Can you ask lcw? FB him. ;) What about the bosses? Am sure Misbun will say, make my day dude if you can do it better. ;)

2 years time should be enough as LCW is a pro player. What I mean is not telling LCW to change the whole training but need someone to help LCW things that he is missing esp. during a game against LD.

hendrawan is already here and if there a need for another one there is a cost,

    mind you it aint cheap.

but first, let me ask you how do you prefer anyone of them?

by their recent coaching achievement/results or their past playing performances?

as these will be the questions from the employer, bam.

i am not saying anything to disgrace all these coaches but these are standard issue

and would be debated heavily in bam meeting should this proposal be brought up.

at the end, what do you think bam would look into?

their current players achievement of course.

    that should answer you something.

both fks and lm has been with mas team and malaysian should thank them for their guidance and grooming some of mas players.

lastly, i am surprise you didn't suggest the thing or even hao chia chang.

To answer your question, perhaps you can look at our diving team now. Do they need to plan any big project before any big game looming ahead like Project 2010?

The young divers can still perform better and much more better given the diving sport still in the growing stage. How about Project 2010? What happen to our young blood?

That`s why I say it is time to make a change to our coaching system or else Thomas cup will become our forever dream. Since China is the powerhouse in badminton, why not we hire their experts and learn their games before step up to compete with them? (you don`t wanna watching our player losing everytime in big stage of competition right?)

china has been a baddy powerbouse for more than 20 years

bam has injected the chinese style coaching system many times, han jian, cheng chang jie, yang yang, fang kai siang, li mao .... was here.lol

its not about learning new skills, training methods from china!

in fact mas has all kinds of coaching style, from the chinese style to the danish and to the korean and to the indonesian. lol

Then what do you think is the best for the Malaysia players?

Comon, games are keep on changing from 15 pts format till 21 pts format. So can you get it? Our young player standard are lacking behind now compare with China and even Korea players(look at our young players)

Different coach have their own styles, but so far as I know Chinese coaching styles is still the most efficient one. Did LCW learn the playing style from han jian? Fai kai siang? etc...

Now, mind to share with me who is good enough to coach LCW to win the gold medal of London Olympic game then?

yes, its a mixture and this is what i have learned from our malaysian coaches.

this unique style has been developed from generation of fine teaching from the foreign coaches who has been serving/served malaysia as well as our local coaches.

applying total chinese training program takes time for most player,

its not like switching from driving with manuel gear to auto gear.

Yes it takes time but at least better than the current state of Malaysia players now(esp the young player).

Malaysia players indeed need to be discipline and taught with right and positive attitude or else they will just giving many excuses after losing even in 1st round: no enough experience, pain here and there, too pressure bla bla bla..

first, you have to differentiate reasons and excuses

even with both problems in hand, a physiologist and a psychologist

    are both needed

as per your assessment on malaysian juniors.

i don't think he wants to come out of china

he should be semi retiring by now and i don't think he needs money,

he should have plenty by now.

unless of course, if he falls for a malaysian gal. lol

    and sorry cheap joke!

    - For your 1st query, yes, it doesn't happen often, but LD did lose to LCW when TXH was coaching and sitting behind him..
Please refer to this recent thread and follow the postings/discussion:
    http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?91679-Difference-that-TXH-makes
    - As for whether LCW needs a good tactician or who is good enough to coach LCW to win the 2012 OG Gold?..how about if he hires LD???;)..
Imo, and as i've mentioned before, LCW can plan and devise all kinds of plans or tactics to beat LD but at the end it's really all up to LD to decide whether he'll win or lose (or give LCW a chance to win). Simply, if LD wants it, he'll get it. It's partly also LD's mental strength and will vs. LCW's mental strength & will. A very good case in point, if you recall, LD's meltdown in the 2006 M'sia Open after he was at match pt (leading something like 20-13) and about to win his first ever M'sia Open title..
