If he put his country above personal glory, he would have skip some SS and focus on Big Tourney.

    Yes you may.

KKK/TBH although lost, they fight for every points and they gained my respect.

If they play like standard 5 students, i will ask u to send the satay + ketupat to my house. hehe..

Totally agree and well said. Not only are we more appreciative of our sports stars,we pay more.
The match was spectacular but there can only be one winner. Even though LCW lost, he wowed the crowd and the CHN coaches. To have CJ and LD pay compliments about LCW's badminton (one after losing and one after winning) should be enough to tell MAS fans about the ultra quality of LCW but do they understand? And I cannot believe one MAS fan judging the quality of the intensity by the G3 score.
Every LCW match is intense and suspense. That's his gift to badminton.

maybe it is a good thing for LCW to retire. I mean perhaps then BAM would be shocked into getting off their butts and get their development/back up (whatever they want to call it) squad up to scratch. As it is there's NO replacement for LCW for the foreseeable future. All our juniors are really nothing to shout about which means Malaysia always has to rely on LCW for badminton honours.

China produces replacements like a car assembly line so why can't we? Perhaps we are relying too much on LCW?

Despite the fact that LCW lost in the final, I can say one thing. He finally become a mature player and manage to control his nerve in big matches. Took him a long time but at least he is there now.

However, this is the first time I see LCW who is known for his supreme fitness to be beaten in the stamina department. He run out of gas in the rubber set. Hardly any smashes even when the lift was short or when Lindan was out of position.
