In an all-CHN final, I don't think LYB would fix or influence the outcome, if that has happens before, someone would have posted those incidents. What I meant by 'yesterday man' is giving up the opportunity to win in a final now, there is no guarantee CJ will be in another AG final and even get to be in CHN 2-man AG team in 4 years time, who knows what the CHN team looks like, it is so darn competitive? If CJ wins the AG10 gold and then the OLY12 gold, yes, he completes the slam which eludes LD. If you are implying that LYB would 'help' LD to complete the slam to be the greatest player in the game history, I really cannot see LD even wants that...it tainted his name cos' secret cannot stay silent, sooner it will come out and haunt LD legacy in the game. I still say LD will win the AG10 with no help. But honestly, I hope a malaysian would win it, and since Datuk is the malaysian rep, I hope he does.

Sure I remember AE2008...LYB has reason at AE2008 and that is to ensure CJ made CHN team for OLY08 team...many posters even said at that time 'LD was generous in giving away AE crown to CJ' and 'LD won 3 AE plus 1 AE he gave away'...this time AG10, there is no reason to influence, fix or order one player to throw the game in the final. If the reason to order CJ to lose to LD in the final, then it is to help LD create history, I don't think LYB would do it.

That is the fun in this forum...speculating and discussion in a civil and respectful manner, otherwise what to talk about?. My prediction LCW beat CJ and meet LD in the final and there will be no CJ-LD final. And LD wins;).

..ya, i just checked; it's their 2nd meeting *shoulder shrugs*. tournamentsoftware needs to update their database...or they don't include any match which ends in retirement??..
..my thinking is, should LD and CJ meet in the Final, LYB will unleash LD..unlike how LD seemed to be held back in say the 2008 AE..;)

LD playing Park wont be easy. I suspect Li Mao knows LD's weakness and knows Park has the qualities to

execute his plan. (Hint: think back of the Chinese players of the past generation).Even if LD wins, its gonna be a real huff and puff!

    off topic:
..OTB, check this match between LD vs. CJ, from last yr's INA Open. Notice the score & how many pts LD got in the 3rd game (of course, CJ's next opponent was LCW). Do you really think LD can't get more than that much point?? You don't think there's a bit of planning by LD & CJ;)

Should CJ-LD final happens, it will be free for all...I can't see Park can trouble LD in final. Either CJ or LCW wins, either player will be so tired and worn out, that LD is waiting for easy kill, that is why I said LCW beats CJ and LD wins. Also, I don't like the odds of LCW going through first CJ and then LD next to win AG10. But if LD could not play his TC10 or OLY08 form and Datuk hit top form, who knows what can happen. Somehow, I feel LCW will play well against CJ, just a gut feeling.

The bottom line is this is a major tournament, an AG10. If CJ-LD final happens, there is no hidden agenda for LYB to issue team order...he probably said, dudes, you guys are on your own. CJ, if he even beat LCW, will have nothing left and will be dead meat anyway. IfLD hold back, it is probably not to embarass CJ with a lop-sided score. If CJ can beat LCW (WR1) and then LD next, he truly is one of the greatest AG winner. That is why I say LD winning AG gold.

2010 Asian Games Individual Event Final: Lee Chong Wei-vs-Lin Dan

    .
LCW and LD are one level above the rest.

Now that they should face each other at this 2010 Asian Games MS Final, our BC fans cannot ask for a better Mens Singles match.
