I would say Koo is partially at fault. He was trying to kill the shuttle by himself, didn't realize that he could have used Chin's lefthandedness to advantage. This is what happens when players get to practice XD with each other only once a week. The Singapore pair played to each other's strengths, right down until their loss of composure when serving at the final third of the rubber. Probably due to fatigue and pressure.
