I am going to regularly update the wait time and general occupancy of Bintang Campbell in this thread. As i only go there Tues/Thurs after 8.30pm, please update this thread if you have reports from other times. Location: Bintang Campbell Date:Thursday, Aug 19, 2010 8.30-10pm: crowded. wait for normal court is 1-2 turns. wait for challenge court is 2-3 turns. 10pm onwards: crowd dies down. 1 turn wait for normal court, 1-2 turn wait for challenge. 11pm onwards: have some free courts.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Tuesday, Aug 24, 2010 9pm-11.30pm: very sparse crowd with the hot weather and school year started. up to 2 empty courts when i got there and average very little wait until closing.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Tuesday, Sept 7th, 2010 8.30-10pm: average wait time less than a game. most people can stay on court 10pm onwards: 1-2 empty courts much more chances to play now that HS students have started school.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Thursday, Sept 23th, 2010 surprisingly crowded day at Bintang. the parking lot was full and i managed to get the very last spot at ~8.30pm 8.30-9.30pm: average wait time 1-2 games. 9.30pm onwards: almost no wait time, all courts occupied until 11pm.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Sat, Sept 25th, 2010 12.15pm-2.30pm: 3 empty courts at 12.15pm, the crowd starts to show up by 1pm and there is hardly any wait time. 2 courts were used for youth training.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Thurs, Oct 7th, 2010 there seems to be an influx of good players showing up in Bintang Campbell. Holvy and Illan was kicking everyone's butt, and then later on Minh also showed up. there are tons of watch-worthy action going on in court 2 challenge court. partner and I got 5 points from Holvy/Illan which was quite an achievement IMHO. 8:30pm->10pm : from 1 unoccupied court to one round wait time. 10pm onwards : 1+ unoccupied courts
..you meant 5 total pts in the entire match?.. did those guys give you guys, say, a 10-15 pts advantage??..
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Tuesday, Oct 20th, 2010 slightly crowded. with the Bintang coaches practicing for Davis and SJSU open gym closed for the week, the gym was pretty crowded until 10pm. much better after that. 8.30-10pm: avg wait time 30mins. 10pm onwards: much more free with empty courts.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Tuesday, Nov 23rd, 2010 not crowded at all. many people probably left for their Thanksgiving break. wait time is less than a round. good challenge court games as well as more recreational games.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Monday, Nov 22rd, 2010 Monday seem to be the best day to come to Bintang Campbell if you want to have no wait time. from 8.30pm onwards, there were constantly at least one court empty. challenge court matches are competitive for the ones up for it.
Bintang Campbell for Saturday, Nov. 27th: Semi-crowded. Wait time is a court rotation. A lot of players around C level for doubles. Challenge courts wait time is around 2-3 matches.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Tuesday, Nov 30th, 2010 pretty empty got there at around 8.30pm and there are at least 2 unoccupied courts. around 9pm the empty courts are occupied but there are 2+ courts playing singles. wait time is minimal. crowd starts to die down again around 10pm and quite a few courts are still playing singles. closed around midnight.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Monday, Nov 29th, 2010 empty. there are a couple of empty courts around 9pm. strong players in challenge courts. Monday is the best day to come if play time is important.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Monday, Dec 6th, 2010 empty again. around 3-4 unoccupied courts at 8.30pm. stays empty through the night. strong players in challenge courts.
Location: Bintang Campbell Date: Thursday, Dec 16th, 2010 got there around 8.15pm. 3 unoccupied courts. more people starts to show 9pm onwards with some good games in the challenge courts. 10pm there are no free courts but soon starts to empty out again.
Location: Bintang Sunnyvale Date: Monday Feb 14th, 2011 got there around 8pm. there are one or two unoccupied courts. that stays the same pretty much throughout the evening. with 5+ empty courts at times.
