Well, she will lose her points from last year's JO SS (a lot of 'em) so WX might take over at the end of this year's JO SS. I'm sure some enterprising BC members already have the calculations done.
Same here . She say she is trying to improve her confidence and mental strength . Wish her good luck and be back in form quickly !
CPS must still be in honeymoon mode to lose so tamely to LH/CW in his MD match with LKW in the 2nd round. However, MHC/TWK did well to beat YH/KK 21-13, 21-19. WYH(1) is no longer a force in WS being badly beaten by LL(not seeded) 21-15, 21-9. The quarter MS match between LD and PSH will be a repeat of their China Masters and WC matches and it is hoped that PSH shines as the they will be playing in a neutral territory.
If a rubber game is a tame defeat, what do you call a straight set defeat? Gosh. Honeymoon mode can reach SF in China, defeat MB/CM? Gosh. I actually think they did quite well, probably fatigued. They need more training on that as well as more improvement in their skills, they are not up there yet...
I thought she has the worst skill among all the Wang's but has the reach and power to make up for it. In particular, WSX has the slice drop and very delicate net play and WX is extremely strong in injecting pace and getting behind the shuttle. WL's attacking game is strongest among the 4 although in WC2010, WX is already worn down by WSX. I do not see WYH being particular strong in any aspect except stamina and agree with madbad that she's content to just rally her opponent into mistakes. She could not deal with a faster pace like the other 3.
What an easy victory for Datuk Lee again this time. winning both sets 10 against Tago is considered very impressive already for me
Won't be anymore soon. Wang Xin looks unstoppable at the moment. The good thing about the Chinese is that they are never at their lows for very long. A few months ago, they were in the doldrums after the Uber Cup loss. Now they are decimating their opponents
lotta courts occupied by INA players, but very mixed success, MD players - no chance vs the champs - not unexpected, but getting lessons by Thai pair - that's somehow new. Vita and Hendra doing well - so INA has still some hopes in XD
