The fact that LCW completed the match even though he knew he had to throw it away is proof of LCW's sportsmanship. Some others may just retire after the interval to clearly indicate the victor won ,courtesy of the loser's injury. Perhaps this captain has never experienced injury in his career. Or he expects perfect display of sportsmanship. TH played well but it won't be good enough to defeat an uninjured LCW. LCW (or LD , for that matter) without the speed advantage, is highly vulnerable to a top 10 MS.

    let's join this mad club

i think i prefer reading this post of yours rather than this great admirer named moses;)

after reading the  published post i went to see the ending match of lcw/taufik video

and yes he did shake hand and said something before leaving. wasn't that was good enough? :D

anybody can help to figure out why

this ex-team captain of some davis cup thinks lcw must:

1/ compliment Hidayat Taufik for his splendid win?

    and

2/ wish him success in the next encounter?

    for i am lost

this is lcw we are talking about

    not some newbie first-timer

DLCW is not there yet, but he will someday. Malaysian players are not being coach how to handle press especially after the match. Most of them just answer the question base on their emotion after the game. LCW showed a lot of maturity since the WC back in KL. He may not appeared to be sporting enough to Mr Moses Tay but for others, it is understandable. After having lost a match that the whole nation expected him to win; the emotion and disappointment overrule the logical part of being sporting. How do you define sportsmanship? By words or action? People differs in their opinion but we cannot expect LCW to be perfect as God. He has the freedom of expression and i don't think it is necessary to say or do "extra" thing to show his sportmanship just because he is world no 1. Some people are nuisance... apart from criticizing, they want LCW to meet their expectation (perfect, flawless player) and try to interfere with his life - he should do this or that .... he should say this and that. He probably will remember to compliment TH if he lost to him without the injury.

No worry, BAM is going to hire a PR coach to teach the players how to handle press. Don't be surprise whenever the players open their mouth, they will give compliments & congratulate their opponent and wish them luck to go ahead to win the tournament.

this is datuk lee chong wei we are talking about

this is datuk lee chong wei we are talking about not some new players ...

indirectly, it shows disrespect to lcw's coaches, fans, friends and even bam and it's like saying

''what have you all been doing to him?''

the writer should have commented in a more 'appropriate' way

he could have said 'i think he was injured and was in a hurry to leave the court, thus the short exchange of words ....'

then followed by his message or his motto he wanted to get across as a former davis cup team manager or tell his story......

this way readers understand - 1 plus 1 equals to 2

or killing 2 birds with 1 stones.

instead of blasting out all his thoughts without realizing whether people would be happy after reading it or not

and the amazing part was it was published!

Oh well, looks like LCW is going to the Japan Open. I strongly disagree with that decision as he MUST be fully fit for the Asian Games, if they want to sacrifice Commonwealth, so be it.
Not sure if there are people who think this back injury is a lame excuse - I don't think it is, but there is that possibility. Anyone buying it? Participating in the Japan Open could add fuel to this possibility.
Of course, let's see his performance in the Japan Open before we comment. I won't be surprised if he gets booted out by Hafiz Hashim or Bao Chunlai.

Wow, this page so many  icon :)p)

LOL,LOL, they also need PR coach for the officials & top guns in BAM.

Undeadshot, if LCW goes to Japan, is to show face, in respect to Yonex. Remember SS Finals Yonex 'persuaded' Taufik to turn up despite him being injured?
Let people think/say whatever they want, we cannot control their mouth or rather their fingers from doing so.;);)

Okay, thanks for the clarification, helang. :) All the best to him but I hope he won't over-exert himself in order to win.

I also think LCW show up in JO is just because for the sponsor only, and he wont go far in JO and furthermore he dont have to defend any WR points here !

But he loses a lot of WR points in China Masters :p (SF)
JO he just need to reach 2nd round to defend his WR points gained there. But watch out for Guru, he might just spring a surprise there.

scientifically and mathematically speaking, its possible

    4 wives x 4 kids

    equals to 16 kids

    divided by both sexes

gives malaysia 8 wonder boys & 8 wonder girls!

of course now nowhere near his father

but we hope in the short future very far better than him!
