Lydia beat her younger sis as expected, in rubber.

WD D2 Lai/SHevon had to concede walkover, means Lai injured(again). Poor girl, AJC final injured,WJC Team hospitalised, now finals injured. Yes Ivan, sad for Lai, so young, so many injury already

Sonia managed to force rubber against her sister, not bad! Good prospect as a challenger for the next year AJC, hopefully she can enter final it would be enough.
Confirm Lai Pei Jing is injured, hope she get well soon.... :(

Well, probably finals will be Ratchanok vs Tai Tzu Ying though, Sonia is one of the 2nd level players who are trying to cause an upset. :) And I hope she does!

Well, looks like Chan Kwong Beng has won...
Well, he was certainly the favourite to win today, but Goh Soon Huat showed determination to force him to the rubber game. Well done to Goh Soon Huat for creating upset to make it this far, and congratulations to Chan Kwong Beng for being the Kedah Open champion.

I want GSH to win also ;) . Melaka mah, GSH is quite good actually. It's more important for GSH, since he havent got the chance to go GP, GP Gold, CKB already going.
Haiseh, too bad GSH lost in rubber

Same thing again, all the backup players can beat each other and lose to each other too.

Yes!! Nelson/Teo beat Ow/Yew! They have a decent chance at the AJC and WJC next year, seeing that they beat the current WJC champions.

Why so surprised? It's very possible for GLY/LYL to beat WKW/Vivian. Their level are about the same, they know each other's game well

I see, always underestimated GLY/LYL because they didn't really get much result and didn't participate much overseas.
Well, I will actually be happy either way regardless of which MD wins, although I prefer Mak/TWK. Good luck both!

Mak/TWK won their first local open! 21-16; 20-22; 21-11. I am proud of them, and also glad for GWS/TKS to make it this far. Congratulations to Mak/TWK! :D
