How old is P. Kashyap...? If he is past 24, I doubt it. But he can stretch Taufik to 3 games twice, which shows that he improved since Chong Wei Feng defeated him in straight games in the first qualifying round of the All-England.
Right now, India does not need one Gopichand. It is better to have 4-5 "good" players than one "very good" player. If a pool of players start developing, "very good" players will start arising themselves. I have good expectations from Kashyap, Gurusaidutt, Praneeth, Sikki and Thulasi. Hope they start playing to their potential.
Vpsingh.. I absolutely agree with u,no need one very good player, but need 4-5 good players.. imo, india now on their way to world badminton power with saina, gokhale, trupti, arvind, chetan, kashap,
Yes, definitely. I agree with you. Even without Lin Dan, I would take China's Chen combo + Bao Chunlai over one LCW + WCH and HH anytime.
