Yeah..it's sad to see people here fighting about things like that.Don't tarnish the image of sports which can be a tool to unite people.People who insult other countries should grow up.Period.Anyway, a match between MAS and INA would be epic :D I mean..they're classic rivals.Always exciting and full of passion.

They should host the Thomas and Uber Cup in my hometown, Toronto, Canada haha...the most multicultural city in the world. Then you'd have the stadium filled to full capacity everyday regardless of who's playing :D

yep buddy, we are waiting for that, but it would be great to support other players as well, not only the home squad! so what if they do not get to the finals? stay at home and do not waste money? crazy excuse! As I said, there are much better places on earth for the players:cool:

Over dinner, we (hauge, krisna, fastdrop and I) had "interesting theories" as to why LKW was so excited.

Anyway, I think loh should have made a fight for that racquet, he was closest and needed to show aggression and arrogance ala Lin Dan or Koo Kien Kiat.

As for HJE's bad aim, she was trained to whack things down, not throw 'em up like a javelin. Thus the reason why she threw like a girl she is.

My Conclusion on China vs Indonesia :

    - WYH vs MFK : Goliath vs David, WYH rules all, MFK need more tournament, and physically training to going up to top WS level in the world.

    - MJi/WXL vs GP/MJa : MJi is very fast at the front, INA pairs struggle alot to win the net but can't. And in double play, who are controlling the net is likely winning the rally. Power of smashes is just the same between both pairs, 220 kmh something, but the CHN pairs smash 2 times more than INA pairs.

    - WX vs AF : very tight, both of them have good attacking style, but WX win on pace and consistency.

IMO, MD1 and WS2 INA just lost by lack of concentration and consistency. Look at the score, always tight at below 11, but after that the CHN add score very easy because of INA players make many errors. (Firda lead 17-15, and lost 17-21, how come)

But anyway CHN is very strong, congratulation!

    1. Not for badminton, there aren't.
    2. It's easier to fill small arenas than bigger ones.
    3. Yes, most Malaysians are lazy and rather watch on tv.

I got as close as possible to her, save for falling off the balcony and on top of her. The only way to get the racket to me was to throw it and the rest, as they say, is history.

No need to post like this. If you talk about bad reputations of each other it is never objective. Even if there are some 'facts' in this kind of statements, there will be no solutions except each party approaches each other positively.

Making enemy is never beneficial. That is a bit of my wisdom ;).

Besides the absence of local players, I think the Malaysian spectators were tired as they had been in the stadium for 5 hours watching the match between Denmark and Malaysia.Hence, they prefer staying home to conserve energy so that they can cheer on Malaysia during the semis :D Just a theory though.

PLease dont forget... Badminton Stadiums in Msia... INA... & others parts of Asia are much BIGGER than in EUROPE...

Stadium in Europe can be easily filled with Press, Players & Officials alone.... so most would think the EUrope Stadiums is full but in actual its mostly Press, Players & Officials!!!!

    Dont let stadium less crowds

I agreed to yr statement that stadium should be filled with crowds.
Since scheduled for others than host players game or favorite players, stadium should open to public FOC to make the Thomas/Uber cup more interesting instead of leaving them mainly vacant.

    Happy Badminton
