It's obvious why it needs to be a night match given that the home team draws in maximum crowd turnout.

And again given that it's a home team match, the fans need the half-an-hour to get home before the public transport ends. just my guess.

which pair will MAS field at No. 2? Given how Faz had already been punished and the makeshift pair experiment of Hoon & Zak had failed, likely back to Faz & Zak. Or maybe Ong & Hoon?

    Thank you!

I'm actually suprised LCW has amassed 6 wins over LD - I can only recall a couple of Malaysia Open wins and Swiss Open win!

Yes, this is very possible. Taufik is too relaxed. I doubt if he is working hard enough. He does not aware of his own reduced capability. The age of LCW does not differ much from that of TH but LCW is in his best performance. Taufik should be aware of this kind of comparison en start working harder than ever before.

Don't misunderstand me, i am an indonesian fans .

Agreed with you, watching Taufik playing recently is really frustrating:( He has excellent talents but lack of hardwork & commitment:eek:

He failed to perform in previous Asian Championship not so long ago. He lost against Sony in straight set during try out a few weeks ago. He did not perform well against Kashyap. Probably better to consider SDK, SS and DHR for the singles. Just a thought :)

that is between now and 2004, lcw did manage to beat ld almost at least once every year although he lost to ld at least twice o thrice a year. it also explains why lcw is ld's biggest threat.

You should count your lines again. FHF/CY vs KKK/TBH is 5 :4.

I really hope MAS will beat CHN in SF. I know it's going to be tough, but this Thomas Cup; anything can happen here, especially being played in their home ground. I'm not a MAS fan but I just want to see MAS play INA on Final stage. I'm sure some of you agree with me. We might have the same reasons why we want this to happen :)

Good evening folks, nice to see that there is already a long thread even though it is still Thursday in most parts of the world  anyway, it's getting thrilling all of us, and I really hope that all of the players will show their best badminton, so it will be great entertainment for sure!;)
 So what does it mean? An easy win for Taufik and lotta time to recover before taking on LCW or LD on Sunday - would be great! Hopefully he's gonna meet LCW on Sunday for the final battle. That means LCW has to get the score tomorrow - I hope for a 30-29 in the rubber :D:D, MD1 should be the easiest task for the MAS team, so if the score is 2 - 0 it is up to uncle Wong, and for this guy I realy hope that he can take Malaysia to the finals! He simply deserves it (and I do not trust Yoyo - the Yoyo was up yesterday, so who can ensure he keeps it up again:confused:)
good luck for INA and MAS teams tomorrow!

Let's go Malaysia. The day is today.

I'll be cheering for the underdogs in the afternoon match but I know that Indonesia has the best chance to stop China should Malaysia falter. I wouldn't mind at all if Indonesia won.

    GO MALAYSIA!!!
