once again i feel that the score will be 3-2 (going either way). the cliff-hanger should be the 3rd singles.

I think if LCW and KKK/TBH wins then we can win..if they lose...then no...

Denmark MD2 are equally as strong as their MD1, thus the performance by HTH/Zl is good..

based on recent forms, if CHN fields CB/ZN, MAS' MD2 will be overwhelmed by CHN MD2's speed and aggression. Hoon and Zakry could hardly match the aging Danes' speed, let alone a pair of 22-yr-olds.

Hehe, MAS fans are cautiously optimistic or should I say, on their knees and praying for a miracle?:p

One thing I did not mention was the crowd factor. Judging from the reactions from last night, I think most of the crowd want to see an honest effort from their boys.

Why was Fuzzy booed mercilessly against JPN? Because they sucked. Last night even though they lost, WCH and Zakry/Hoon gained a measure of respect because of their battling performances.

The crowd has to realize MAS are up against the big bully now. Anything less than full support will lessen any advantage MAS has. And god knows, they'll need as much of it as they can get.

A quick note about the crowd sitting around me. They were mostly well behaved and supportive. A few I spoke to gave good observations. But as always there are a few idiots who can't resist running their mouths off. Generally quite annoying but hey, it's a free country (is it?) and they're entitled to their opinions.

Yes, the neutrals will surely put their money on CHN. On paper, they look unbeatable. BUT luckily we are not going to fight on paper. We are going to fight on the badminton court !! with the support of an expected full house of fanatical fans with their drums , kompangs etc to bring the roof down. Those who were there last nite will surely attest that if not for the vociferous fan support, the MS2 and MD2 wud have lost in straight games and I am sure it also affected the Danes focus and concentration.
So, even if the head tells me that CHN going to win 3 -0, my heart says we will end up winning 3 -2 !!! GO GO GO MALAYSIA !!!

I hope Malaysia will field the line-up as follows:

    MS1: LCW
    MD1: KKK/TBH
    MS2: HH
    MD2: HTH/OSH
    MS3:TCS

HH should remain as MS3. He has better chance there.

That line-up MS2 and MS3 lose for sure. WCH is there to take the bullet and not expect to win so that HH can have a better chance against any of the MS3

    XZ/GZD vs HTH/ZL
    - XZ/GZD are probably another best double on the field. You can see them as FHF/CY sculpture with slightly cracks and holes around them - not perfect but that good. Like the other Chinese players, they are all attribute to fast attacking system. For that, a 7.8.
    - im not sure that this newly form partner will work out against the Chinese double. But they seem motivated enough in the first set against the Danish. it wears out eventually. a 5.9 should justify my meaning. They need more chemistry coz they were often watched each other as the shuttle passed by. "Hey, you take it" "No, you lah!!"
--> so easy to predict here. im putting my money on the Chinese pair. But against all odds, if all stars line up straight, you can never predict the outcome.

It really doesn't matter who Hafiz will face, his biggest enemy is himself. If he plays his "A" game then he has good chance to win else he will lose badly. So lets pray the "A" Hafiz shows up, not the "F" one.

    BCL vs HH
    - BCL probably is the weakness among the other MS. ive seen him fall down by the crowd taunting voices. Maybe im exaggerated, but my point is, if there is a hole in the Chinese line-up, ill say he be the one. im generous enough to give him 6.4.
    - Same thing you can say bout HH. Not a fan of him. He have Hashim's blood, a Yo-yo type of disease. The brother suffered it first, and now it came haunting the younger one. He have quite good net playing style, but poor in the killer prospect. a 5.9 should be enough for him.
--> will it come down to the last match? if it is, this will be Malaysia third consecutive decider match - should be in the record or something. Im guessing the crowd will be wild at this point, and they are all standing up. Should BCL can overcome the pressure, he'll win this one...
