if Jap can beat Mas then there is a high possibility that Mas can win over China 3-2

From what I see, LCW is very close to his personal best level. LD is at his average level. I would say LCW has slight advantage.

It'll be moot point. Simon is stronger than JPN MS2 or MS3 and Hayom can take care of Sato-san.

i will not bet against Sato as he is well-known as a fighter. let's not forget that Sato's speed and determination drowned MAS's MS3.

what Sato lacks in skills (compared to any of the INA MS), he makes up for it with his determination.

I can't believe now almost everyone believe Tago is a better bet than Taufik.

Last time they played in Thomas Cup Asian qualifier semifinal, Taufik beat Tago. Indonesia beat Japan 3-0.

Could be but Sato was in the process of transitioning to MD...I'm surprised HH can't beat him...but then again we're talking about MAS infamous yo-yo man here. Hayom is much better stamina wise than Hafiz.

For JPN to beat INA, Tago has to beat TH (and I think this is still 50-50) and win out MD2 and MS3.....I just don't see that happening.
