HH was clearly playing his A game. With Persson playing poorly, that boosted HH confidence even more and the kill was evident. If HH lost, just imagine no MAS in UC/TC SF, that would be a funeral in the stadium. With HH win, that up the excitement and provide another playing day for MAS.
Someone said with Hendy coaching HH, let's see if HH plays differently than before, I think so. Playing HH at MS3 is a good choice as this is not the time to experiment with juniors when it is now or never for LCW and TBH/KKK. Playing WCH at MS2 is a strategic sacrificial lamb, if WCH wins that is a bonus, if WCH lose that is a giveaway to enable HH play MS3 as this DEN-MAS series proved it:)

looking at zakry/hoon performance, i think malaysia can win over China 3-2 with point from LCW, KKK/TBH and Zakry/Hoon. No hope for WCH and HH.

I see it strong. very strong in my eyes. Let us see, whether my prediction is right or not

Actually, that would be 3-1. HH won't need to play. Nowadays they stop at 3.

That will be good for INA if meet MAS in the final (if INA won the SF against JPN), still have the opportunity to get 2nd MS, 2nd MD, and/or 1stMD or 3rd MS rather than meet CHN...

As good as Zakry/Hoon's performance as a pair, they have too many weaknesses to be considered solid for a point. Neither are comfortable enough at the net. If you surrender frontcourt, half the battle is lost.

They are also not fast enough to react to flick or awkward angled serves. Rotation and understanding of who is supposed to cover attacks down the middle need improvement.

Since onetoughbirdie mentioned that Hafiz brought in his A game against Persson, why can't Hafiz be relied for a point?

No. Today Hoon played well than Zakry. Zakry easily give mark to DEN.
Anyway, I prefer today 2nd MD pair are Hoon & Ong.

CHN is still favorite with a strong, balanced team packed with experienced warriors. For MAS to win, LCW and KKK/TBH MUST win. HH has to play the game of his life, his AAA game to face BCL...if the series does comes down to the deciding set between HH-BCL, who that hits top form on that day and with crowd support, there could be an upset. I envy those fella seeing this match live on Friday, you lucky souls...I am jealous:crying:

I didn't watch the game, but the Mas MD2 played fairly well against the All England Champ based on the score, it could have gone either way.

I think Mas MD2 has the highest chance to steal one point from China next to MS1 and MD1.

Hafiz played pretty well yesterday but I must say that BCL is not an easy meat like JP.

So Happy that Malaysia can won the match tonight. Malaysia Tigers really wake up today. U can see all of the MAS players tried their best when playing with their oponents. That's what needed in the team. So Malaysia will meet China on Friday. Hope all can go to give fully support and fight non-stop in order to show that we can win against China even lost also not that easy. Good Luck to MAS.
