Well I hope SDK is alright... at least with 2 days to rest and hopefully, if INA play easier runner ups on Wednesday, then 2 more days for recovery.... :p

If SDK is really injured, INA has no option left. For me, there is not much differentce Taufik-SDK-SS and Taufik-SS-HR. But SDK-SS-HR may be their strongest lineup yet. However, we underestimate Taufik at our own peril.

Taufik often becomes disinterested in the middle of the match. And he is NOT a good team player. In TC2002 final, he lost against Lee Tsuen Tseng of Malaysia and in TC2008 he lost against Korean player (LHI)??? But I hope he is more determined now knowing that he is not a badminton God anymore....

Hayom seems talented but he still lacks consistency. Yesterday his crosscourt backhand (not sure whether it is a smash) is wonderful... But at the end of the day, it is the consistency that counts....

Now with SDK gone (hopefully he will recover) then it is time for Simon to step up... Be a hero now and he will be remembered for the next 15 years... :) Any more interesting matches later today??

Hayom may beat Chen Jin if he is on-fire but at current situation they won't meet... It will be Hayom vs BCL or Chen Long... But of course if INA gets into final.. China and INA won't meet until final because they are #1 & #2 seeded rite??

In this case my best scenario for INA will be:

Korea vs Malaysia in QF and Malaysia win because somehow I dont like this Korean team (they are dangerous against INA)...

then Denmark vs China is SF, while INA vs Malaysia in other SF... I believe Denmark has the biggest chance to beat China although they may not be able to beat INA or Malaysia.... :p

Why Indonesia was 2nd seed of the tournament ? When bookies odds before tournament was :

    China 1.38
    Malaysia 3.50
    Indo 7.00
    Denmark 21.00

It was clear that Malaysia should be the 2nd seeded team . Most probably Indonesia will lost somewhere in QF or SF , thats why bookies put Malaysia as 2nd favourite .

China vs Denmark SF is better.... Meaning 1 final spot for Malaysia/INA (or Korea)... hahaha... :)

The Aussie coach chickened out . Would rather gamble on WD2 than gamble on taking on an unproven 17 y.o. WS3 junior in the more or less deciding match :p.
Tournamensoftware coming through with the lineups @6AM was great, not ... would have PAWed on Denmark with this lineup ;).

The seed is not determined by the bookies but according to BWF rankings... I think because INA got better ranked 2nd MD, 2nd&3rd MS than Malaysia... Please correct me if I'm wrong... Then it means that in QF China will be in the upper half of the draw while INA in lower half of the draw....

    yes
they might play again in quater
    hehe:p

    this is a funny question
if bookies get it all correct
they are all bill gates or brunei king now
    why do bookies?

    but

    if bookies twisted the %
then just they can earn money;)
