Reason for Ji Wook Kang's loss, he's exhausted after playing so many matches?

Hope he can still win the mixed doubles...

Bao Yixin now the only left to claim two titles.

Axelsen already beat him in German Junior ... easily. Let's wait and see what will pop up on the DBF YouTube channel the coming days [IMG].
In any case: great result for the history books .

Ah, I just wake to the news that Viktor is the first European WJC. What a way to start my day! Really thrilled to see quite a few of the european players doing well this year (and some from completely unexpected countries). Hopefully it will also make senior badminton a lot more interesting!

... and now Ratchanok has won too! My day is complete ;).

Ratchanok and Victor Axelsen deserve to be in the YOC, even if they are too young. YOC could at least give them exemptions.

Yes, it's pity the best players can't compete there.
Axelson's birth date only a few days different form the limit.

Viktor, well done! Also Ratchanok has created history to become first GS to win title twice in a row. Congrats to all medalists!

How nice (for me) that YOG is in Singapore.

    Too bad it's only singles.

All the more important for the World Junior Singles Champions to be there. What kind of, err, Olympic Games would it be without the World Champions? :p

Maybe BC should start a petition to include Axelsen and Ratchanok Inthanon.

Hmm, I didn't know they are not eligible. That sort of sucks. Furthermore, Youth Olympics - 4 years once? If I were 15 this year, I would think it's unfair. If Inthanon and Axelsen do no participate in any Youth Olympics, it's a travesty to their junior career.

Initially, YOG designed to feature athletes between the ages of 14 and 18, as IOC President said, reported by usa today .
Other idea is to include badminton in Winter YOG 2012, then Viktor and Ratchanok eligible to play :D
