    relax..

MAS WD just take a benefit from Greysia's fatigue...
    the structure is right now..
    1st WD Greysia/Meilina
    2nd WD Shendy/Nitya or Shendy/Lilyana

    Reserve : Anneke

    for WS
    1st : Febe
    2nd : Adrianti
    3rd : Maria

Reserve : Fransisca Ratnasari or Lindaweni or April (so hard to decide)..
i prefer Nana for her experience..:)

Saina Nehwal showed no mercy at all after she dumped Wong Mew Choo of Malaysia 21-5; 21-13

Last hope on Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying to make semis...but they are struggling now, 16-15...come on...make it a rubber.

Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying forces rubber after winning the second game 21-16. It starts at even ground again. Can they be the 2nd Malaysia representative in the semi-finals?

Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying makes it the 2nd Malaysian representatives to enter the semi-finals after they beat Hirokatsu Hashimoto and Mizuki Fujii13-21; 21-16; 21-9

The other pair who progressed was Vivian Hoo Kah Mun/Woon Khe Wei who defeated Meiliana Jauhari/Greysia Polili of Indonesia 26-24; 11-21; 21-19

Vivian Hoo/Woon Khe Wei has a chance against Thai WD if they are not too tired. First time got other MAS WD in finals besides CEH/WPT for now  but the WD champions will undoubtedly be Pan Pan/Tian Qing...

As for XD, Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying will go down to Devin L.F. and Lilyana Natsir...

So hopes are on Vivian/Woon Khe Wei to get a runner-up

Slightly disappointed with Mak HC/Tan WK although this is probably quite an achievement for them. I felt that they could have taken the rubber, especially when they were 6-0 up. Then I left for dinner and they were losing 18-20 when I came back...

As expected CHN maintained their prowess without casualties, going into the SF. With the exception of SIN, the others have at least a representative in the next round. But those which opposed CHN in the QF were eliminated.

    Here are the SF positions:

    6 - CHN
    3 - TPE & KOR
    2 - MAS & THA
    1 - INA, IND, JPN & HKG

It still remains a difficult task for the Rest versus CHN, in all but the MD.

Would BP be able to usurp LD in MS and little known Wang Zhengming upset the better known Kenichi Tago?

I hope not if we want to see Tago taking on China's best, LD in the final.

In the WS, would Liu Xin (unknown to me) be able to shock big sister Zhou Mi (#2) who is now representing HKG? And would another CHN unknown Li Xuerui be able to create havoc against Indian star, Saina Nehwal at her home ground? These are tall orders but not entirely impossible.

In WD, I think TPE's Cheng and Chien may have a better chance against Pan & Qing (CHN), and KOR's Han & Hwang may surprise TPE's Chen & Lin in MD, seeded #1.

But I suppose all eyes will be on the battles between BP and LD, and the WS between Saina and Li.

Malaysian fans will have to assist their semi finalists in WD and XD with their moral support. Both will have even chance against their THA and INA opponents respectively.

Most of us will be free to watch the live-score proceedings on a non-working Saturday but no live broadcast.! :(:):D
