after using Apac Fusion 7200 and later now Victor Bs -10 , to just to improve my use of Bs -10 , i had to carry dumb-bells to made my arms stronger . And i felt good with BS 10 . So in the end , i sold my Ti-10 for SGD $90 . Damn fantastic racket , but too head heavy , getting old liao .
Don't think LYD using BS11. I am sure it is BS09. If you look at the picture posted, the shaft is white and it is the same as http://www.badmintonshoponline.us/unlimitshop/popup_image.php?pID=453
I do have a BS10, 4UG2. BP is around 275mm and that's with grip on top of the stock grip. I find its maneuverability is really great. I not a very good defender but due to its swing speed and maneuverability, my defense seems to be 'improve'. Currently downside of my 4UG2 BS10 is power, need more effort to make the smash harder (maybe due to the BP). Just regretted that i got a 4U instead of a 3U.
If you put additional grip on most racquets especially a replacement grip or towel grip over the original grip, the bp will be 280mm and below. I have a 4U BS10 and i put a thin overgrip on top of the original grip and the bp is 290mm. Power is good and since it is 4U, pretty fast also. But man, the racquet is stiff !
Definitely will try to take out the original grip and just use a replacement grip over the bare wood. But i will do this till my grip turn dirty and smelly. To me, it seems that my SW35 somehow alittle wee bit stiffer than the BS10 though. Might be my imagination or something.
You are a Victor collector !!! I don't have the SW35 but it seems that it could be stiffer than the BS10 according to the reviews. I actually wanted to get the SW35 but strangely, the SW series in Bangkok is more expensive than the BS series ! I have a SW33P and I am impressed with it and was thinking the SW35 should also impress me.
If got the chance, you should try! If you can tame the 3U SW35, lots of power can be unleash! Still trying my best to bring out its full potential.
I would love to try all the racquets in the world but unfortunately my pocket not deep enough :crying: Yes, I am sure the 3U SW35 is powerful but so are the N90, TC700, Z Slash etc which I have and I haven't really use them to their fullest potential yet.
Well, you are so much better off than me. I wish to try N90 and TC700 but don't have the chance. Glad that I'm not thinking too much, lol. Maybe that's the reason why I am able to adapt to BS10 stiffness since my SW35 is stiffer.
Does anyone know how much a KR version of BS10? KR is the Korean version BTW. The code is on the shaft right above the cone.
Teoky, actually, SW35 is not more expensive than BS series. The SW35 & 36 are @Baht 4200 while the BS10 & 11 are @Baht 4900. They are putting Baht 6200 on the tag of the SW35 since it is for promotion package i.e. including bag compartment, etc2. The good thing is that they often have promotions in Paragon or Emporium. I have 2xSW35 and 1xBS10 which I got for a good price.
You are referring to the price at First Sports/Sports Marketing ? Yah, I know BS10/11 is more expensive than the SW35/36 in those shops but at Paragon, the list price for the BS10/11 is lower than the SW35/36 and on top of that, you can get 30% off. It end up that I can get the BS10/11 cheaper than the SW35/36 from First Sports/Sports Marketing.
Actually, the SW35/36 is listed @4200 Baht (not the 6200) at the Paragon. You still can get 30% on them too. Also with the VAT Refund and some promotion on top, you get even more bargain . (I haven't bought any Victors from First Sports for a long time, Sports Marketing do not carry Victors though )
I would think the Bravesword 11 would be the better racket. I know more than five advanced players (including a coach) who use this and they were all thoroughly impressed by it! A friend of mine recently tested both rackets out and he told me the bs 10 was too light and smashing wasn't nearly as powerful as the bravesword 11. In terms of looks, I would say the bs 10 has the slight edge but they are both very nice. Also, to the poster complaining about victor racket prices in Canada, there is one store that sells it for 160 CAD.
