By any standard, it was an outstanding finals day. Worthy of being billed the 100th All-England Finals. None of the finalists did not perform, the eventual losing finalists making it really tough to the worthy winners who had just that little bit extra (accuracy, composure and luck).

    Worth staying up late for.

Will be remembered for a long time..

    - Tough way to end the MS Final. But both players played all out.
    - Lots of great comebacks in all of the Finals matches!
    - If not mistaken, I believe this is the first ever SS tourney that lasted for over 6 hrs.
    - And the same echo: it has been one great week for the 100th AE edition.
..this has happened many times before in the past. Check out the 2008 OG sub-forum..;)
..Boe or Mogensen a BC forumer??..very interesting..

The XD match was the best of the 2010 AE finals.
It was gripping and even one of the Bcers peed in his pants.
The leads changed hands a few times but NW/LN just lacked the killing smashes.
The sensational new Chinese pairing of ZN/ZYL was a breath of fresh air. They had no fear of their established opponents at all. They played with gusto and enthusiasm that one could not help rooting for them.
Congratulations to ZN/ZYL. May you win more tournaments.

goodness, this is simply the best AE final ever in a long time....even more special since this is 100th edition....a bit dissapointed after Nova/Lily lost as this is maybe thier last AE together, but that can be covered with other matches which were sensational and lasted very, very tight, kudos for all the finalist who made this final exciting....

well, its actually very good to the sports since rumour has it that badminton will be removed from OG if not so many ppl interested to watch the games anymore......but based on yesterday's final that definitely will keep the badminton on the loop....;)

The 100th edition of AE has produced new champions, debutant pair Zhang Nan/Zhao Yunlei, World #1 Lee Chong Wei, Olympic Champion Du Jing/Yu Yang and former World Champion Lars Paaske/Jonas Rasmussen to grab their maiden title here. Former AE winner, Tine Rasmussen repeats her success in 2008. Congrats to all champs, what a top quality tournament!

What a wonderful final day it was.... All the matches played evenly.
Many congrats to the winners. And to the losers too...

We perhaps a new star in waiting in Kenichi.
And Tine showed she is certainly not a spent force...
Best thing, LCW has got a crown he deserved :)

Let's not be too hasty with 'new' rating for Kenichi Tago.
A good showing in a tournament may not be repeated and we just have to see how he performs at the Swiss Open.
I would add that I am not being negative but just being realistic. :):):)

I'm even worse than you. I fell asleep after the mixed double match. I can't even stand until LCW game. But I asked my bro to tell me if LCW won. I acknowledged LCW's victory in a sleepy state. :D;)

Fell asleep during the MD. I was only following the match through visual live score and the BCers' comment. Darn! There's no coverage here. That's really frustrating as it seems like most of the BCers here agree it's one of the greatest AE matches. Congratulations to all those who watched.

oooh, it's so sad to see ina XD lost to china. my worriy finally came true. and looking from the result, it seems they had a really super intense match. so far i see, Nova/Liliyana will likely lose if their opponent in final is not a top player. but i think that had to be a great match. and congrats to new china great XD pair. never thought that they were able to survive from the qualification and defeated 3 top player! XD version of Kenichi tago maybe.

but thanks to tine that have won the title. really entertain me a lil'. it seems tine has been back again. she's great by defeating 2 china's player. btw, could Wang Xin become Tine Rasmussen's killer (like there was Camilla Martin Killer that was gong zc, the same small girl)??

Whoah, really Kenchi tago is great. though he lost to LCW, it seemed that tago battled well againts LCW. and i think, now, LCW is undefeated player. the only one i think have a chance to defeat LCW is only LD. Will he is able to take all superseries title this year? hehe!

No comment for Du Jing Yu yang vs ZYL/CS. china will likely win in every WD match. They are too dominating XD

And the last but not least, congrats to LP/JR! really they are so mighty defeating 3 top player.

this 100th AE has really made me crazy!

The championship final last call was indisputable as the decision has been made from the line judge. Everybody is making a conjecture of LCW's winning as cheating or underhanded. To my opinion, both LCW & KT performed an excellent game for the spectators and TV audience. Everyone cheered and enjoyed through out the game. Every rally, strokes & critical decision made by the players are crucial for obtaining the AE10 title. There's more to come in 2010. Once again heartiest congratulations to all players participated in AE2010. Thanks so much.

    Regards.

    as for chen long
no one saw how he beat lcw and lindan unless they are there
thus the praise is not logic
