Congrats to Datuk LCW's first Major victory! :D:D:D marred by a bad line call, but this is sports, controversial endings happen and that's that.. :(... and what a way to remember the 100th All England

Props to KT for his sportsmanship!

Same skill as Lee Chong Wei, you are giving him too much credit. What he have is magic net touch but that alone is enough to shatter the top players. If Lee Chong Wei have that kind of net play, Lindan would have been known as Mr. Runnerup

Very sad and sorry for Tago, he was clearly playing better than LCW.
His defence was awesome and he was outmanuveuring LCW, even though he lacked power, his netplay was far superior.

i think the shuttle was out but it was called fault by empire since it hit tago's racquet. otherwise, tago would have challenge that call. it was clearly out. even earlier in the game tago did challenge a call by the line judge. and lcw nodded to him as if saying "yea i know, it was out. the line judge was wrong".

    terrible linesman..

it could be more interesting if it goes to deuce..
anyway, tago is good and LCW seems subdued at certain point in the game. anyone notice tat?

stop bitching about li ning rackets in this thread, this is already your 2nd post

stick to talking about the finals

i am so pissed about this final, if it was 20-14, sure, whatever, LCW would have won anyway

    it would have been 20-20..

such a linecall happened quite "often" at the AE final stage lol... e.g. the WD final last year, the last point

I cannot believe that's the level of AE linesmen

    My observation.

Tago is very daring, challenging LCW at the net. He has very good net play that is very close to the net.

    Tago has powerful smashes, fast.

On the other hand, LCW is not playing his normal game. He is nervous.

I would really like to see how far will Tago go.

You obviously have not played badminton before. It is understandable.

The shuttle did not hit Tago's racquet, and he protested that it was out, but lcw was already celebratory and the crowd was too loud to change the decision.

Ooo, Kenichi Tago can very very well meet Lee Chong Wei in the R16... And then the winner of that match maybe will meet Hayom Rumbaka in the finals..... ;)
