No, they don't do it themselves, they have others to do this for them. Studying other people's game is a must and has about 20% importance in a match.

I am surprised you said that. I have always thought you are one of the experts here. Have you been in a badminton team either as a player, coach, selector or adviser before? The name LD/LCW does not guarantee you a victory. If you don't do your homework, even Susilo can beat you at the Olympics.

I thought you might be joking. Of course your knowledge on badminton is tremendous as I have read many of your great analysis. You guys are lucky in KL, we are 3 hours ahead so LCW's match will be on something like 1 am and of course I have to work tomorrow:crying:

Its very annoying for LCW fan like me. Each time, his name is mentioned anywhere, his nemesis name poped up. However, as much as I predicted LCW to beat PG 21-19, 21-15 (give or take 2 points yesterday), on a site called badmintonfreak, I boldly predicted in Nov. 2009 (4 months ago) that LD is on a decline. I saw it in his eyes, his body language etc.

    u.s.a.

..the England WD pair who won the 1980 AE WD were actually Gillian Gilks (formerly Perrin - later Goodwin) & Nora Perry (formerly Gardner)..If the stat is correct, they did beat Y. Yonekura & A. Tokuda.
..that's right, Emiko Ueno won the 1977 AE WD title (with Etsuko Toganoo) as well as the inaugural 1977 WC WD title (also with Etsuko Toganoo).

The Japanese WD really dominated most of the 70s. That decade was their heyday.
..imagine the INA fans..Should LCW win this AE title, that'll leave Taufik as the only Four Kings to not have the AE title..;)
..kwun is a bit excited..in 1/2 more hr, then it'll be 1 more hr to go;)
