I watched Kenichi Tago's previous games , notice his style of play is quite similar to Boonsak Ponsana. His strength is smash.

In conclusion , Lee Chong wei will have better advantage , due to his defensive skills. Lee Chong wei to win in the finals!

Few things that Chong Wei should not do prior to All England Final :
    1. Don't under estimate Tago.
    2. Don't get nervous, play your usual game.
    3. Most important, don't read anything from Badmintonforum :D

..if he has any stamina left, only way for Tago to win against LCW is to be aggressive and on the attack from the get go..

After 2 very tight and long matches...I do not see Tago can win over LCW....2 sets for LCW...

i agree. on paper, on anything, the match should be LCW's. if he botch up on this, he will be eternally framed as a loser. the last time MAS won AE MS was that Hafiz flash-in-the-saucepan performance back in 2003. that was 7 yrs ago. i really do wish that LCW wins it this time so that the MAS fans can have something to rejoice. the performance of the MAS shuttlers has been rather disappointing in all of the big events. the fans deserve something more.

If LCW wins..I hope Mas' fans will not go crazy or over the celebration...more important evenst are waiting like WC, TC and Asian Games.....
I am sure LD will be back....just like TH, after winning Olympic, he became celebrity, went here and there ( some criticised TH;s for party, drink, etc....)..now same thing happened to LD...he went too many functions, drinks, etc...( some functions he had to attened....)
Good news that CBA was able to stop it and thats why they did not send LD to KOR SS or MAS SS..may be he needs time to re-focus...I am sure he will be back..may be playing another year or 2 before retiring..

..don't tell that to X Ball, though..he's probably already preparing the champagne bottles, BBQ grill, and hundreds of satay sticks to celebrate the entire week...;)
Interesting thing is, he didn't even make any special thread hyping up LCW in this AE (unlike during the 2008 OG)..

It is funny that I never ask Lyliana why they call her " butet"....:D..
Actually the word of Butet is from Bataknese ( north Sumatra) meaning "daughter" ..( correct me if I am wrong) but her family is from Manado (North Celebes..Lilyana is a chinese indonesian

From the few bits I've seen of Kenichi Tago this tournament, his strength is that he is always quick to the bird and in good balance which allowed him to be aggressive. But by now Tago must be tired; and LCW is superb at that game plan himself. Hoping for three good games but LCW will prevail.

Gotta bet on Boe/Morgensen in MD. Their fast, flat, never-say-lift style must be very difficult to resist. JR and LP will not lie down quietly but I predict the young Danes in 2.

Don't hope for Tago Kenichi to lose stamina. He is 20, and has played rubber since the 2nd round and still managed to overcome Bao Chunlai in the semi-finals
He is a fighter all right. I think his stamina can last LCW in 3 tight games, like how he outlasted BCL yesterday. LCW needs to play his normal game or perhaps slightly better to overcome this Japanese obstacle.

Lilyana was once interviewed by Tukul, in Empat Mata, Indonesian TV Show, he asked her Why does everyone called you "Butet"?

She replied :"In the past, When I was first time in the club, there was a friend asking my name? and I replied 'lilyana' then she said well that's too long, it's better I started calling you Butet, ok? Since in Medan(Capital City of North Sumatra), Butet is a lovely name and is a name for the youngest daughter, and since I'm the youngest so I was agreed. By then my friends called me Butet"

What I can say is ... don't bet on it. Whether he wins or he loses, I believe the reaction will be big.

But for me, it's more a sigh of relief if he finishes the job. A good player like LCW should not be without a major, and this is the best chance yet.
