wow, im impressed with kenichi tago. it seems he is growing into next level now. great. Too bad lin dan lost the match. Actually i really want to see LD vs LCW final.

and with CY/FHF, JJS/LYD, and KKK/TBH out, MK/HS now has a big chance to win the tittle. it seems now their turn to win AE after all other players above won it. haha! the fate sometimes has its pattern.
Btw, i was so shocked too seeing the result of LYD/JJS! it's unbelievable!!

In WS, Wang Xin begins to draw my attention. She seems to be the most consistent WS player and continue improving. And tine seems to back on track again now. She's gonna be serious now after being defeated in R2 for so much times by Wang Xin. I really hope that both Tine and Wang Xin will win. And it's gonna be great since it's gonna be tine's time to prove that she can defeat Wang Xin.

In XD, i never thought that ZN/ZY would defeat HAG/VM. They are improving so fast too! But i think HH/YY still be able to stop them. But im really nervous about NW/LL. really hope that they can defeat LHJ n LYD.

I tussled with this for a bit and I can't see a way for Tago. Chen Jin Bao Chunlai are two totally different players in style. Chen Jin's style is a lot easier to handle, very "run of the mill" should I say. Bao is all flowing, half smashes and taking the bird early, which can throw you off. And he's a lefty to boot. Bao is in the form of his life and I fully expect him to beat Tago.

Done by design I think. In the QF round, they featured all the other countries with the exception of FHF/CY, on the TV court. In the SF round, they will feature only China as all the others were in the limelight the day before.

I hope you're pulling my leg. When the tournament started, BCL's name wasn't even a footnote. He and CJ were supposed to clear the way for the mighty LD to advance to the final. A funny thing happened along the way. We found LD's preparation, fitness and form wanting, and BCL pounced and seized the leading CHN role, which he fully deserves.

With the demise of LD the spotlight shifts to LCW and now the pressure is undeniably on him as he IS EXPECTED to lift the trophy. So the "biggest upset" mantle lies squarely on the shoulders of your famous datuk.

..the way i see this and going into the Semifinals, LCW is now the fave to win the AE MS title..
Now, if BCL loses to Tago, then i'd say that's the biggest upset for this 100th AE..;)
