That's certainly not correct as far as I know  3 and 4 will be randomly drawn into either top or bottom half; while 5 to 8 will be randomly drawn again.

In the Australia Open Men's Singles Draw - 1,3,6,8 are in the top-half, while 2,4,5,7 are in the bottom half.

but TUC Qualification is a team event, where All England is individual. I believe that somehow INA (specially women team) have a better performance in team event than individual IMO

Very strange that German Open had 16 seeds for MS where All England where all the top players in the world play only had 8 seeds in the draw. LOts of tough matches in first round but also very easy macth thanks to the random draw.

usually, in other sports, bigger tournament has more participants than smaller tournament, just like World Cup VS European Cup in football or Grandslams in Tennis. But in badminton, I find it little bit weird because SS tournament has fewer participants than GP Gold for MS

If you have been following badminton, it's not strange at all

MS Draw for GP and GP Gold tourneys has always been for 64 players with 16-seeds, whereas those for SS will only have 32 players with 8-seeds

As for the other discipline, unless it's the World Championships, it's usually 32 players with 8-seeds as well.

I had been following badminton since Mia Audina play her first Uber Cup matches when she was just 14, thank you.

I know that SS had only 32 players, but BWF still can had 16 seeds so the audience can watch top 16 fight it all in second round and not (sometimes)top players had to fight against each other in first round. And with only 8 seeds, sometimes the draw has two mediocre players in round 16. (cause of the luck of the draw)

I still think that in a field of 32 players, you can have at most 8 seeds. Having 16 seeds will be slightly too much

Yep, all the best to Malaysia. While I think that 'Draw of Death' is exaggerated, the draw is still pretty tough for all shuttlers. HH and CWF heading to face Lin Dan in just the early rounds  LCW having to meet Sony early-on, and KKK/TBH gets some pretty high level shuttlers right from the start before moving on to the top 4 (Assuming that they progress)
