    Hi all

    I'm an attacking-minded player (60% offense, 40% defense), I'm looking for an all-rounded racket.

For the rackets I'm using :
Forza Armor speed 990 (4u) : a clone of Yonex Armortec Technique. It's quick and have decent power.
Apacs Lethal 50 : really powerful but a bit slow for me. I can't do some quick shots like I can with Forza.

I can manage to get the AT900T (4u & TH coded) or Victor BS 11 (4u) at the same price. So I wonder which one will suit me best.

I love some thing quick but powerful.

FYI : we can't have the test rackets here so I have no chance to play with it before buying.

    Thanks

    NR

I have the AT900T before and it didn't work for me, probably due to the aero frame. I sold that and bought a AT900P which has a box frame and it suits me better.

I seems to have a liking for box frame design as somehow it gives a more "solid" feel but strangely the Mizuno Luminasonic 9 with a aero frame works for me ? Could be the Solid Carbon Concept that it is using.

If you are like me, prefer "solid" feeling, I think the BS might be more suitable. I should be getting either the BS10 or BS11 as the price in Thailand is very good !

I've been playing with the BS11 for a little while now, great racket. Sorry only swung the AT900T a few times never played a few games with it. I would not suggest a 4U version of the BS11, I have the 3U and I believe its plenty fast in 3U and the 4U would just lack too much power. Not just for smashing but for clearing etc.

The frame design really does help with minimizing the air resistance even though some might say it doesn't. I've used NS8K which is headlight before and the BS11 swings easily as fast but being slight head heavy gives the extra "power" behind all shots. Defense for ME is extremely easy with the BS11.

P.S. I play mens doubles 99% of the time

    Just my 0.02 cents.

If you go to Siam Paragon, they have promotion for Victor racquets and you can get up to 30%+12.5% off !

The list price is 4900 baht and in order to get the 30% off, you need to use the M points for the discount. On top of that, you get another additional 12.5% off if you use Citibank M card. End up around 3000 baht which is S$130 ! Very cheap !

Surprisingly, the BS35/36 actually sells for more, if I remember correctly, the list price was 5900 baht. This is weird as in all places, Brave Sword series are considered higher end than the Super Wave.

lol Bs11 for sure, is quicker, and has good power, from the headheaviness and good flex, im pretty sure AT900t has more power by alil but bs11 is quicker

    hi all

    thks for all ur advices.

it seems that BS11 is a "better" deal

    since I'm using a 4u racket ( a clone of AT900T actually), that's why I'm wondering if I should get the 4u or 3u BS11.

@ teoky : I'm sorry but I dunt know wat M points are and I dunt use the Citibank M card. I wonder if I buy the rackets by cash, what is the best price? and where can I get it? Thks

For best price using cash, I think it is First Sports at National Stadium.

I own AT900P (3U) and BS11 (3U), but i nvr tried AT900T. I would say BS11 is more user-friendly (especially u play for long hrs) and it is more durable due to its solid frame.

If I remembered correctly, should be 3900 baht ?

However, I remember that the SW35 is selling for 3300 baht at 1st sport which is much cheaper than at Paragon ! So you can consider that. Not sure if they have SW36 but you can check it out, the SW36 is easier to use compare to the SW35 which is very stiff.

Get 3U if you need more power. 4U is more if you want the speed and focus more on defence.

If you buy from a big department store like Siam Paragon, you should be able to get the 7% VAT refund for tourists too. The stores near National Stadium probably don't participate in the VAT Refund for Tourists program, but i'm not sure about that.

    hi all

The BS11 is only available @ 3u version here (vietnam) so maybe I will choose it for more power... hope that it doesnt sacrifice too much defense

    Thanks

    Hey

I was wondering how is the comparison between the weight of the AT900P to the weight of the BRS11?

this in my opinion is not useful as the weight of each racket is slightly different (even in the same weight class). hence, each weight class has a range.

Knowing he has a 3U AT900P and a 3U BS11 It WOULD be useful to know as I have never got my hands on a 3U BS11 before. But I have tried a 3U AT900P.

I just want to know the weight comparison between the two so I have an idea of the where weight of the 3U BS11 stands... How could that be not useful?

So basically I'm using the Power as a scale...
