I would say, IF LCW play without injuery, there is chance that he could bring just 1 gold from MS.........but still difficult from Men Team...as our 2nd MD and 3rd MS are sucks and HH also at 45 - 55 against SS. ;)

Its good for LCW to rest,.....dont care wheter he rest at home or shopping in Orchard road Spore........as long as he is resting.........:D:D

Its all water under the bridge now

Amazing all the IFs 'bout LCW.

Even if LCW took part, it is still not a birthright that he will win the MS gold or help MAS win the team's gold.

I would prefer Lcw playing without injury for sure. Just like Jasonmarc's view, yes, if he play in the singles category, there's a good chance that he can take the gold medal. But it's too much if wanna expect him to help malaysia get gold medal in team event too because u can see their performance:eek: Even without LCW participation also:D Just look at the TC 2008 semi final for example:rolleyes:

LCW would not only win the gold medal for Malaysia, but for you too. He would appreciate you adopting his name. ;););)

    Malaysia's performance in Laos

How do you rate our shuttlers performance in Laos?

    Personally, I give it a C+

In the MS category, with LCW hanging out at Takashimaya, our replacement shuttlers failed badly. And the sad part is that we are still depending on HH while Liew Darren took to the court without putting on his pants and flopped big time.

WS, pretty clear a disaster. WMC, a highly ranked shuttler bungkus-ed while our highly anticipated, Lydia was given some coaching lesson by a little girl, all in the early round.

MD, our WR#1 pair KKK/TBH did not deliver and lost tamely to HS/MK. Exhaustion could be the reason.

WD, hurray one gold from WPT/CEH. BUT in all honesty, in view of the quality of opponents, this gold is expected.

XD, .... well, at least we took part and had some fun along the way.

In the team's event, our men's team were expected to lose especially when we gave away 2 points before the competition begin in having both HH & KBH. The Fuzzy pair ought to be put to sleep as they are totally unreliable. And coupled with KKK/TBH being inconsistent, it is gonna be a tall order for MAS in the coming TC.

The women's team surprised all with the gold, thus ending 34 years of emptiness. However, all the talk and joy about our women's game being on the up were quietly squashed during the individual events. We are still a long, long way from home.

Anyway, C+ is not bad. Its still a passing grade ....... and a start.

I would give it a Capital 'D' for just passing - not meeting expectations.

I think a B for the overall Women Team's performances with a Team Gold, WD Gold is considered not bad :p:p............only the WSs were a let down.........!

For the Men Team overall performances,.... a big E as all our MS didnt performed up to par, MDs still very inconsistant win one lost the next.....

I wanted to give a F to men Team at first, but they performed well in XD event...So an E which ver close to failure is suitable for the men team...

You mean WMC's lost?:confused:Cos before the match started you already put Lydia vs Ratchnok as 70% to Ratchnok to win and that for Lydia reach semi not bad. Remember Lydia was the one who beat Portip in the tie vs Thailand to clinch the winning pt.

MS- enuf said, same old story. MD- Haiseh, after all this time, you still cannot see the trend? :p:p
Lets see if MK/Hendra(or Fu/Cai, LYD/JJS) ever play that many tourneys in same time frame and see if they lose steam. Boe/Morgenson no need compare, they themselves say bf they dont play many2 in a row, stamina thingy(this round is 4 in 7 weeks, no bad for westerner).

    i'll give B for INA's men team
    and C for INA's women (hey..they are 2nd seeded..:D)

for MS - B+ (1 gold and silver, good enough)
for WS - D (OMG--Firdasari beaten by 14 years old and Yulianti lost to Mew Choo)
    for MD - B for Bona/Ahsan and A for Kido/Setiawan (1 gold and 1 bronze, fair enough)
for WD - C- for Shendy/Meilina and D for Greysia/Nitya . Skip 2 SS and SSMF to concentrate in Sea Games :confused::confused:
for XD - A- for Nova/Lilyana (because lost one set in Final :D ) and D for Devin/Lita

    ehm..and A for Nova Widianto ;)

I would give B+ to the womens' team. The girls still have an uphill task in the coming Uber Cup when facing the mighty opponents such as China,South Korea & Denmark.

For the mens' team,D for the overall performance...the singles players are very dissappointed--a lost to a unknown Vietnamese player, for me totally unacceptable.Mens' doubles--do they know what is "consistency"?
